Galleria Tile
This year we are proud to be celebrating our 25th anniversary! Established in 1994, we are a second generation female-owned business with a rich history in the tile industry, importing some of the first Italian porcelain into the U.S. Our tile showroom is located in the heart of San Francisco's Design Center with the largest selection of porcelain, ceramic, glass and marble tile from over a hundred manufacturers.

Our ever expanding selection of tile, ranges from the essentials, to the unique and handmade. We also specialize in custom work. Stop by and browse through our showroom or call/email to make an appointment with one of our designers for personalized attention.
Services
We call ourselves a "working showroom" for a reason. Feel free to set up your blueprints on one of our work spaces and design away whether you are designing from scratch or have a particular look in mind, we will help you achieve that look. Our large sample collection is another great service we offer to help with your designs.

Very broad selection and excellent service. I re-tiled the living areas, kitchen, and bathrooms in my home with porcelain tile from Galleria and couldn't be happier with the results. Sabine was extremely helpful in offering advice about selecting tile and then following up. My tile was in transit over the holidays, when the showroom was closed, but Sabine was always available to help me track the shipment.

As many of the previous reviews have mentioned, Sabine is the best! She has helped not only us, but two other friends we referred to as well and both have only good things to say. She's really good at reading what you are looking for, providing advise and reasonable alternatives, and helping your organize your purchase to compliment your job. Her only problem could be that word-of-mouth has been so good that she's really busy!

Doing a complete home renovation last year I visited multiple tile stores before I finally found Galleria. Wish I had been here from the beginning since they have the best selection and assistance I found. Also competitive prices and the sales people do not push towards more expensive products, which I noticed elsewhere. I recently did a small finishing project to tile my fireplace and I am so happy with how it turned out. I wanted to use patterned cement tile but Sabine at Galleria suggested I use a porcelain that mimics the cement look. This was great advice as it saved me quite a bit of money

The only place in San Francisco to get traditional Victorian Tiles from England.

These have color all the way through and include triangle tiles and other hard to find shapes.

After years of sloth and indifference, I decided to gut and rebuild the master bathroom. This means tile-- lots of tile.

Which brought me to Galleria Tile. I've been there before and always felt good about their staff, selection and pricing.

This time around, I was really starting from scratch and needed lots expertise and even more patience.

Enter Sabine...her advice was invaluable. To start, she immediately said "beware of white floor tile, it shows everything." I went dark, thank heavens.

The main challenge was a big long wall that greets you on arrival. I wanted to

I love this place!

Sabine met me at the entrance and the rest is history! She skillfully guided me through tile selections for the re-model of three bathrooms and my kitchen. She made the process fun and easy thinking of everything including measurements and time allotted for my orders to arrive. Sabine has beautiful taste and didn't miss a beat, she saw through my projects until the very end. The tiles look gorgeous and my remodels look better than I could have imagined.

I highly recommend Galleria Tile to anyone who wants a beautiful selection, in a great range of prices and top-notch

We had a narrow timetable to select tile for our remodel. The staff at Galleria were helpful and accommodating, and were knowledgeable and low-pressure. Their showroom is well-organized and has a diverse array of tiles to look at. They worked well with our contractor. Overall a good experience.

Finishing up with a kitchen remodel and visited many, many tile stores in the Bay Area.
The best selection, service and prices were at Galleria Tile.

Sabine is a delight to work with: great design eye, patient with questions,
helpful, great attention to detail, always available, and excellent follow up.
The tiles came in really fast as well.

I highly recommend this store for their selection, prices, and Sabine's knowledge and exceptional customer service.

Very diverse samples of tile, which is great for people like myself who aren't really sure what color and style they're looking for.
Sales associates are attentive, knowledgeable and don't pressure for a sale.
Open Saturdays!
The lead time on the tile I ordered was faster than expected.

I have been buying tile for over 15 years from Galleria. They have similar looking materials to the really high end places like Ann Sacks and Walker-Zanger but at a fraction of the cost. They have volunteered to return stone to the supplier if it did not meet their standards when it arrived, and have been quick to solve problems.
They also have excellent designers that will work with you - FOR FREE - and this is a big deal. Very patient with novice buyers and designers alike - just really upstanding business people with expertise and great pricing.

I bought beautiful backsplash tiles from Galleria Tile years ago and now I'm finally installing it. Renovation projects don't always follow the anticipated schedule! The original design did not need edge tiles, but the final layout does. The manufacturer of the tiles went out of business about three years ago, so I thought there was no way I'd be able to get the pieces I needed. But when I visited Galleria Tile to see what might come close, I talked with salesperson Diana Visona. She looked at the two tiles I'd brought in and said she might have some trim pieces by the original

I echo the other comments. Decent selection, obnoxious customer service. Examples:

I walked in and described our tile (gold travertine). Response: "If you don't have a sample, I can't really help you." Seriously? Sales 101, man.

Later, indicating our tiles were gold and white. "Those are really difficult colors to work with."

Everything out of this guy's mouth was "no" until I asked for pricing, when he was quick to hand over his card. Spend your money at a more deserving business.
