5 stars! I love Aesthetics Hawaii, Dr. Yew, and all the staff! I've been going to them on and off for botox since 2016, and have never had a bad experience. Dr. Yew is always attentive and kind, and the staff is wonderful. I recently went in and had a consultation about maintenance as I get older (I am 50) and he and his staff were very thorough in going through my options, never pushing me to do more than I ask for. I contacted this place to ask about making an appointment with Dr. Yew and the receptionist told me they're closed for the holidays. OK. I think it will be helpful to have a 'Holiday Schedule' listed on your Yelp page so people will know what to expect.
She made a point to tell me right off the bat that Dr. Yew is scheduled 3 months in advance without me even needing to tell her what service I needed. Do you tell people that Dr Yew is booked 3 months in advance just so you can discourage potential customers and encourage them to book with your nurse?

Horrible experience here, the receptionists were lovely the nurse was an absolute nightmare, first they told me they had juvederm and when I got the the nurse said they don't have any and she refused to fill lips based on her personal opinion that my lips are already big, not any health concern, she told me she mainly works on Asian ladies and instead of offering me an alternative treatment that day she tells me they double booked and I had to leave she was very rude and kept repeating she is very conservative and not doing "Hollywood" look, I naturally have full lips but because

Wow!! Amazing first visit! A friend referred me to Dr Yew and now I know why. He really knows his stuff! At the end of the visit, I felt like I had been to a training seminar. Both he and his assistant Jen took the time to review and educate me on the procedure that I was about to do. He also challenged me on a personal goal of mine. After receiving my first Botox treatment for my TMJ from Dr Yew is a life changing experience. I don't wake up with headaches anymore. I used to suffer from constant headaches and pain on my jaw and my dentist didn't recommend surgery. I'm very thankful that I met Dr Yew. I am a health care professional who suffered from frequent headaches and severe migraines until I started Botox treatment of my chewing muscles with Dr. Yew. I have always worn clear retainers at night to serve as a guard against my strong clenching habit and would always carry my prescription migraine medication with me but that wasn’t enough. My review is for the nurse Mi Seong. I felt compelled to write a review because my experience was similar to other Yelp reviews who saw Dr. Yew's nurse. I originally found this clinic based on its raving reviews for Dr. Yew. Turns out he is always booked out three months. Dr. Yew is absolutely amazing! You can immediately tell that he is passionate about what he does and truly cares about his patients. Dr. Yew is all about less is more, and will make sure you do not over do it so he can make an extra buck. Dr. Yew takes time to get to know his patients and create a plan tailored to them. I felt comfortable with him from day one - the atmosphere of the office, Dr. Yew's personality along with the staff create an incredible experience. Dr. Yew goes above and beyond in all aspects of care. I have a history of feeling close to passing out when I receive several needle pokes. Got 4 prp treatments. Nurse taking my blood was inexperienced, he had to tell her how to take my blood.....while taking my blood. Told me I had extreme hair loss and needed prp. Ive now discovered that the actual reason is from folliculitis. Prp probably made it worse. Total quack. Tried to get me to do additional treatments. Wasted $2400.

I've suffered with TMJ and trigeminal neuralgia (TN) for approximately 3 years. During this time, I saw several medical & dental professionals and had a series of procedures which were unsuccessful in reducing the pain, numbness and tingling (P/N/T) on the side of my face for any length of time. Invariably, if I did get relief, the P/N/T would return. With few options remaining , I received a consult to Dr Yew and received injections for TMJ in January 2021.

I now regularly see Dr. Yew for my temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. I've been experiencing severe migraines but never decided to discuss it with a medical professional till recently. At my consultation, Dr. Yew narrowed my issues to TMJ and explained everything to me down to a tee -- from symptoms, causes, treatment, efficacy, cost, and side effects. I have been a patient of Dr. Yew for many years. I started seeing him as far back as when his office was located in Aiea. I found Dr. Yew to be one of the most professional and kind physicians I have ever encountered. Dr. Yew is SO AMAZING! I went to him for lip filler & botox. I've previously gotten lip filler & botox with Dr. Shim Ching's office but because I didn't have the best experience, I wanted to try somewhere new. She has done the skin pen on me twice and I am seeing more of an improvement than when I had this treatment in the past elsewhere.
