Pre-1978 homes make up about 70% of the housing stock in Massachusetts. 80% of these homes have not been tested for Lead Based Paint (LBP).

Lead dust can poison you, your workers, your family, homeowners, and neighbors.
Prior Environmental Training Services teaches the EPA model course for RRP Lead-Safe Certification. If you work on houses built before 1978, you must be RRP Lead-Safe Certified. Non-compliance with this rule can result in fines of up to $37,500 for each violation and work stoppages from the Massachusetts Dept. of Labor Standards, OSHA or both.
