We are proud to provide a comfortable facility for the highest quality dental care available. It is one of our top priorities to protect the well-being of our valued patients. For this reason, our office meets and surpasses all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and CDC (Center for Disease Control) standards.
Dr. Westrick graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1998, "sums cum laude". He then completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Milwaukee. In 2001, he received his certificate in Endodontics from the University of Illinois. Prior to studying at Dental School, he attended the University of Notre Dame, graduating in 1994.
If the tooth is not a good candidate for a root canal. Extraction may be recommended. If a tooth is not strategically important, is deeply cracked or does not have healthy gum tissue, extraction is sometimes preferred. If an implant is being considered for the extraction site the extraction socket should receive a bone graft.
Nitrous Oxide, known to many as laughing gas, is the most commonly used form of sedation in dentistry. It is a very safe alternative for light anti-anxiety. It is great for both kids and adults. It is also quite cost-effective. It is administered by having the patient inhale the gas, which is carefully monitored by your doctor.
For any of the procedures we provide, we offer an oral medication that is sedative in nature. Usually triazolam is prescribed. It relieves the stress and anxiety that may historically be associated with root canals and other procedures. For some patients, it is the only way that they are able to get themselves to go the dental office, while for others, it just "takes the edge off, " and makes it a much more pleasant experience.

I went in for a root canal. First one, so I was a bit nervous and scared. I hate anything to do with my teeth! Wow was I amazed. Everyone was so friendly, Dr. Westrick did an amazing job! He assured me it would go well, he explained it all to me, and would explain what he was doing during the procedure as well. He made sure to test how the numbness was before he started! It was pain free and went easier than I thought! I would recommend him to anyone. I hope I do not need another, but I know where I am going if I do!

Dr. Westrick was kind, gentle and very professional. He explained everything as he completed my root canal. He explained everything right down to the smallest vibration. I have a huge fear of dentists from previous years of treatment and he (and his staff) treated me with extreme care. I highly recommend this office and will be going back (with less fear and anxiety.)

I had an AMAZING experience with Dr. Westrick! I choose to utilize the nitrous gas as i have terrible anxiety with the dentist. This helped me alot! Dr. Westrick talked me through the entire process and ensured me i was doing great and had a success root canal. I had no pain or discomfort once i was numb and no issue at all through the process. I couldnt be any more pleased with this office and the assistant was super nice as well! I would HIGHLY recommend this place!

Incredibly impressed with Dr. Westrick and his team. Had a scheduled root canal for a tooth that isnt giving me a current issue, while suffering a tooth ache from a different tooth. Dr. Asked questions prior to my scheduled procedure and discovered that the other tooth was more of an immediate issue. Further tests confirmed that. He immediately repaired that tooth and scheduled a new appointment for the original one. Not only that, but the procedure was done in a very timely manner, with gentle, caring control. I am 100% pain free and not concerned about my next root canal.

Just had work done at Central Wisconsin Endodontics and cannot say enough about the way everything is handled and accomplished there. Stacy (filling in at the front desk) working with me on short notice, after a cancellation, to get me in was greatly appreciated. Once in the Chair, Dr. Westrick and his tech Lisa, make you feel so very comfortable knowing the anxiety one can be going through facing a root canal.
