Services
According to the American Physical Therapy Association, there are over 70 known symptoms and conditions that may be alleviated by physical therapy. Physical therapy is an alternative to surgery and/or pain medication for many people. We aim to provide our patients with the ability to regain their mobility and return to their normal activities without pain.
Patients are able to participate in a combination of land-based and aquatic-based therapy options depending on their individual needs. Aquatic therapy offers many advantages and benefits to individuals recovering from all phases of injury or illness. The scope of patient diagnoses treated in our pool is surprisingly vast, encompassing everything from post-surgical, non-surgical, orthopedic, rheumatologic, and neurological to chronic pain.
Most causes of vertigo involve the inner ear ("vestibular system"). One of the most common forms of vertigo is benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), an inner-ear problem that causes short periods of a spinning sensation when your head is moved in certain positions. BPPV occurs when tiny calcium crystals in the inner ear break off and move to another part.
We generally ask that patients arrive 15 minutes prior to their initial evaluation to complete the necessary paperwork. I went to head to toe physical therapy for my torn acl recovery and they were very friendly and willing to change things and dull them down when I wasn't able to do them yet. The staff members at head to toe physical therapy are very friendly people and they all have a great sense of humor. Thank you guys for everything you do for your patients. I was very satisfied and now I am off playing sports and being able to live my child life again!
