Dr. Kate Johnston is one of the true pioneers of acupuncture and oriental medicine in the United States. She began her studies in South Korea in 1981, then attended the first university of oriental medicine in the United States - SAMRA University of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles.
After graduating with her PhD., she spent six months in China, studying with the masters and treating patients in hospitals and clinics there. She has been in private practice for over 35 years, helping thousands of patients to regain their health by bridging the gap between this ancient wisdom and our modern world.

I was a fence sitter on acupuncture all my life. Then major pain from a malfunction near my spinal cord. I had to wait over 3 weeks for surgery. I was very limited in meds for the pain.
Dr. Kate is absolutely amazing. She gave me pain free days and reduced pain on most others. I never believed this was possible. She practically saved my life. And helped my anxiety because of the pain. I will have many more appointments with her down the road for other ailments!!!

I have been receiving Neuro-Acupuncture for symptoms related to an autonomic nervous system disorder.
