The Milk Parlor

I am an out of state student from Washington, over 21. The past few times I have visited Milk Parlor the bouncer has been extremely rude, especially regarding my ID. I completely understand the need to verify identification, and look out for fake IDs, but I have provided a second form of identification (passport photo and credit card) multiple times and was still turned away. The bouncer even bent my Intermediate Identification card after showing him my passport photo. I had to pay to get it replaced, and when I visited again this evening, he tried to break my new Real ID. I politely asked him

Great service, great atmosphere, clean restrooms. Top bar in Blacksburg, even though its underground. Must try their famous 99Bananas shot.

The food was fantastic! Quick service. This was my first time there but will be going back for more.

Had the Ford Capri sandwich with seasoned fries. Sandwich was melt in your mouth amazing, fries had a gentle kick to them. I should come here sometime when they have an event, seems like a great atmosphere inside. Price was very fair, service was excellent as well.

Nice ambience, nice bartenders. I got few drinks over here and they were well made. Idk that bartenders name i asked him give me something you like and he gave me cocktail with ginger and other things and that was best cocktail i ever had. Overall nice place to hang out with friends.

Great sandwiches, excellent grilled cheese, cuban, and french fries. Also, delicious and unique White Russians. Great spot with outdoor seating in the Blacksburg Square.

Although I'm sad Sycamore is gone, the Milk Parlor brings a refreshed vibe into town. Their sandwich selection has a wide variety, with a few great veggie options as well. Their drinks are also interesting and the white Russians I tried were very good (the lost freshman and the white leprechaun) although they were a bit pricey. It was a great place to actually have a night out as it wasn't too busy or crowded like the main bars DT.

It's a great new music venue, resturaunt bar that stands as THE ONLY PLACE amongst the many taverns, pubs, sports bars that OFFER OPEN MIC AND JAM NIGHT in downtown Blacksburg.
The awesome Milk Parlor Lounge area not only have comfy couches- but also have Atari.
The menu is great, which even extensively offers veggie and even vegan options... Don't fret; plenty of meaty options as well.

Had a great French Quarter sandwich with homemade olive spread. Service was very quick at lunch on a Friday. The tomato bisque as a side was best I've ever had. I've heard comedy nights are a hoot.
