This place is great and convenient. With beautiful grounds. This year they opened earlier (in the winter) and were super accommodating and helpful. Susan and her husband were very friendly and helpful.
They have a stream on the property they're dog friendly they have all the conveniences on site and have a bar (horse ranch) adjacent to the property and a market and gas station right out the park. And. Very close to mt Shasta ski park.

We had a very nice time at the mccloud rv resort. To be open in November was unexpected due to added challenges but there were employees working to keep the property nice for quest. We look forward to being back regularly

We stayed 7 days and wish we could have stayed another 7. Lots of full hook ups, property well maintained and 10 miles to the boat ramp on the McCloud river. Trout fishing excellent.

We come every year for a big family reunion. The new owners have kept all the good, charming character of the park, while investing in much needed repairs and cleanup. Great location to enjoy the area. Can’t wait for our return next year

First time here, stayed for 5 nights during Labor Day. Our sites were on the quieter side by the entrance so the road noise was not bad. Clean grounds and level. Our sites were so close together that our friends could not open their awning without hitting our motorhome. Sites are tight to back into, especially challenging when the park is full. 30-amp is standard except for the few pull-thru sites in back next to the highway. Walking distance to the pizza/brewery next door and Frosty's burgers across Highway 89. BEWARE of the price adjustment if you bring your dog. At check-in they will ask

The green lawn was very nice but our Premium ?spot was not very nice. The spot next to ours had their sewer hose literally 2 feet from our picnic table! As mentioned by another review the road noise is loud, pet area is fine. Large rigs really get the worst spots No WiFi maybe ok for a night but not for much longer

We were fortunate enough to stay at this campground in June of 2020 with the prior owners. Our trip was wonderful; we enjoyed the grounds, met new people and ventured to all the waterfalls in the area.

We had such a great time, that we planned a follow up trip and brought 8 families with us for a week's stay. The new owners are nowhere near as welcoming as the prior owners. All of our families felt harassed and violated during our stay. The entire campground is grass, with the exception of about 12 spots that have a small rv pad. Since the website doesn't list site size dimensions,

Amazing park and staff. Stayed two weeks due to forced evacuation due to fire. Staff made sure we always had a space. The park is full of green grass that they work hard to keep green. Very kid and dog friendly. Other pros; bathrooms, showers, laundry, tent sites (yours or theirs), open green spaces for play or relaxing. The only con would be no wireless internet except right by the office, however there is a strong cell signal here.

Family and pet friendly park. Nice lawns and flowing creek through the property. A nice little trout pond too. Some sites recieve some shade depending on time of day. The restrooms are clean. The owners and their staff are friendly. The park is dark at night which we prefer.

Really a 3.5 star review.
We've been coming to this park for about 10 years, staying 1 week. It's been through 3 owners in that time, I know this is the first season for new owners so I'm considering that in this review. They were friendly.
Location of the park is great for access to several Lakes, hiking etc. But the truck jack brakes have always been a bit loud. Rules/rates: rates are not excessive but not under market either. However rates are ONLY FOR 2 adults. Kids, pets & additional adults add a few more $$. This is NOT the norm at other places we go. Plus the owners seem to be out in the

We absolutely loved this place, easy access off hwy. there is a pizza and brewery next door. Beer was tasty, pizza pretty good, make sure you tell them you want it well done.
Our dogs loved the grass, FYI, no mats on the ground, but it was fine since you are camping on beautiful lawn! Full hookups make it even better. Bathrooms clean, laundry and showers .
We visited the beautiful waterfalls about 10 minutes up the road . We will be back.

New owners of 2 weeks are going through the ringer fixing frozen pipes but are nice and go over the top trying to stay open when no one else does in this area. Highway at the back isn't that bad at all at night. New owners have lots of plans to make it even better, can't wait!!!

We've been coming here for the past 6 years in early October. Nicole and her team really make us feel welcome! The groundkeepers do a nice job of keeping the spaces mowed and watered so everything is green. Also throughout the park a huge hanging baskets of beautiful flowers. Our group noticed the creek area behind space 110 and the pond in the middle of the group picnic area are becoming eye sores as they are extremely overgrown and in need of cleaning and trimming/maintenance. Hopefully it will be on their maintenance radar in 2021. We'll be back!

So this is a beautiful little RV park but the owners clearly are into the $$$ money aspect and not customer service ! Our group recently stayed there, renting 2 cabins and several spaces. One cabin had black mold, spider webs, dead bugs everywhere, a leak somewhere that caused carpet to be wet and a loose handrail that caused a fall.

One of the spaces didn't get their electricity turned on when they arrived and had no power, heat or water their first night. We were also charged for a space that wasn't used. One of our group members made many phone calls trying to cancel!

After staying here for three nights, this will be one of my go-to RV parks around the area. Park is small, but peaceful with nice trees and green grass. Plus, it is so close to many places like Burney Falls and Lake Siskiyou to name a few, not to mention McCloud Falls. Market near by, Chevron right there, too. Nice burger joint near market, too. Best fries and tater tots ever! One reviewer says that is was a parking lot, but what true RV park isn't. Definitely highly recommended.

It has been one week since we wrote the review, on August 22, and to this day we have not been contacted by owner or manager. We now see why the park is the way it is. Businesses never fail people do...............
We as the customer are sad to see the customers treated this way. Treating the customer a little more profession, will go a long way and bring customers back.

Nice place for RV and tent camping

My biggest complaint is the cabins. The cabins have not been updated in a long time. I would suggest the person responsible for maintenance and cleanliness should step back and do a room by room inspection and I think they would see a lot of deferred maintenance and upgrades that could happen.
The bar b q's next to the cabins are so old they're not really usable.
And for some reason they think it's better to leave a cabin vacant for one day, because their policy is only two days or more rental.

That said, the overall facility is nice, The

Nice little RV Park. Well maintained. A little pricy for the amenities. Nice staff, dog friendly. Walk to grocery and also historic town center with shops and restaurants. It was a little noisy Friday and Saturday (family parties) but quiet near us. Very peaceful over night. We will be back. If you are heading up or down the I-5, it's worth the 8 mile diversion.
