My psychotherapy techniques help young adults, Millennials and Gen Zs address what's bothering them most in their lives. Let's get to the bottom of your pain points, depression, anxiety or more, so you can actually do something about it. It all starts with a conversation. I know that finding a therapist is a daunting task, especially when you are already struggling with something like depression or anxiety.
Maybe you are hiding it really well and doing everything you can to hold it all together. Your Instagram says one thing, but on the inside you feel completely lost. You want to feel relief, but you're not sure how to get there or even how you landed here. You do know, however, that what's going on right now isn't working for you, and you are ready to make a change.

I became a therapist and arrived in the world of psychotherapy somewhat by design and somewhat by accident. As a sociology major in college, I was always fascinated by the ways in which our environment influences our concept of self, others, and the world. The study of gender within sociology led me to volunteer at a shelter for domestic violence survivors in Seattle, Washington.
It is hard to feel sad, worried, and self-doubtful, and some days it can all feel like too much. Feelings like this can really cloud your sense of self, purpose, and hopefulness for the future. It's no fun. My job in therapy is to guide you in figuring out how to feel better, all while learning more about yourself in the process, so that you can face challenges to come and enjoy what's right in front of you now.
Find out what press Emmy Crouter has appeared in, covering topics like how to get over a breakup, how to cure loneliness, and more. In time, she adds, the "new" space will ideally house a mixture of both of your respective belongings so that it truly feels like home for both of you. It's important to bring this to light, as they may actually not be aware of your feelings.
Here you'll find the most common questions about my therapy service including "How often should I go to therapy?", "How long does therapy take?" and more. I would be so happy to hear from you and talk about your goals. Reach out via phone, text, or email. We set up a short preliminary call to see if basic things like schedules line up.
