Specializing in Cranial TMJ Therapy and currently developing a Cranial-Dental Co-Treatment Paradigm. Dr. Gerardo treats and manages cases/patients in two dental offices outside of his own practice. He lectures on the Cranial-Dental model using SOT principles and has lectured at chiropractic colleges, dental conferences and meetings on SOT, Cranial, and CMD/TMD since the late 1980's.

Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) often occur as a result of problems with the jaw, jaw joint and surrounding facial muscles that control chewing and moving the jaw. These disorders are often incorrectly called TMJ, which stands for temporomandibular joint. TMD is a reflection of the stress and imbalance in the skeletal system and not just an injury or dysfunction of the jaw.
Nutrition is probably the single most important thing that a patient has complete control of in terms of their health. Diet is critical to maintaining optimal health and is over 50% of how we improve people's condition. The old saying, "You are what you eat" is universally true. By testing blood, hair, urine, stool, etc., we are able to determine your exact deficiencies.

One reason only for no stars: they told me straight up NO ONE WAS VACCINATED AGAINST COVID at that office. That they believed there was an "alternate perspective."
Since I've known people who died from it, and who almost died from it (ventilators used, brought back from the brink) this is a nonstarter for me. Frankly, it should be for you, too.

Dr. Gerardo was recommended by a good friend. My back was becoming more finicky and then the spasms started, those awful stabbing ones, so I decided to take care of myself and give him a try. He told me he wanted to see me twice a week for four weeks and began his extensive treatment which included setting my lumber by pressing inside of my mouth...an unusual sensation to be sure. After two sessions, the spasms were down 90%. Then he began fixing all my other complaints, head shaking, stomach ache, knee pain, wrist pain, jaw pain. The guy does just about everything. I've seen many chiropractors

I went to Dr Gerardo as I had a bad fall and had a 3rd-degree sprain at my ankle and I had tried to break my fall on the sidewalk with my hand. I was in a high degree of pain and was worried that mobility would be impaired as I had hurt my ankle previously and I had had polio in that leg.
After the first treatment and the nutritional advice, he gave me I was able to go back to work the next day and 2 months later I was walking without pain and able to walk the dog!

I have seen Dr. Gerardo as I've been having a dental reconstruction and it's been good insurance to make sure my bite and jaw are aligned correctly. I came to Dr Gerardo with neck issues after taking a dangerous fall that left me with a severe TBI. It was at least 2.5 months of little or no improvement after the accident when I first came in.

Very shady billing practices. They attempted to charge me $50.00 extra after not seeing Dr. Gerardo over 6 months. I couldn't return after that because of the price gouging. They should make their patients aware of this 6 month period, I'm sure he loses patients because of it. Which is a shame because I think Dr. Gerardo is a good chiropractor who is knowledgeable in his field.

Dr. Gerardo is a miracle worker, truly! I have been a patient of his since December 2016 for TMJ Treatment in conjunction with Dr. Shirazi--and the results are outstanding. Dr. Gerardo has magic hands I swear. The work he has done to alleviate the pain and symptoms of TMJ cannot be overstated. His technique works and I have seen incredible improvement in all areas. I cannot recommend Dr. G or his staff highly enough!

I have seen many chiropractors in my life. Girardo is the best hands down! He is intuitive and a true healer. Also, he is the only chiropractor who recommended me to a neuromuscular dentist to solve my TMJ problem, which was the source of many health problems for me. If it wasn't for Dr. Girardo, I would still be in misery, but instead, my life is healthy!

I highly recommend Dr. Gerardo for your chiropractic needs as well as any TMJ issues you are experiencing. I continue to see Dr. Gerardo twice a month in order to maintain my health. Also, I recently started bringing my daughter in to see Dr. Gerardo. She was experiencing neck and back pain that was aggravated by her heavy school backpack. She is already feeling much better!

I sought out help for a condition know to most as "incurable", Tinnitus; ringing in the ears. I've been plagued with this debilitating condition for 3 years.
