Fernando Lora MD, completed specialty training in General Surgery at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, N.Y. He is also affiliated to State University of New York. He completed fellowship in Cardiovascular Surgery at Heart Institute, Houston, Texas with Dr. Denton A. Cooley.

Surgeries can be classified as major or minor, depending on the seriousness of the illness, the parts of the body affected, the complexity of the operation, and the expected recovery time. Breast enlargement is a procedure that uses implants to satisfy the desire to have more breast volume or regain of weight loss caused by a reduction, after pregnancy, reconstruction after a mastectomy surgery, or even an injury. At times enlargement of the breast also involves giving them an upward lift, which makes a woman feel more rejuvenated.

This is a surgical procedure to reduce the size, extirpate fat, skin and breast tissue of the bosoms making them smaller, lighter, and firm. Patient may or may not need reduction of the areola.

Women with large breasts may have some problems due to excess weight such as back and neck pain, which requires the adoption of vicious positions, altering the axis, the dorsal, and cervical spine causing skin irritations and even inframammary respiratory problems.The purpose of breast reduction is to provide proportion to the woman's small breasts and more proportion to the rest of the body shape.
