The Chosen Healthcare family has 17 Skilled Nursing facilities in Indiana, Iowa and Texas. Our communities are focused on rehabilitation with the goal of getting our short-term and long-term residents back to enjoying their lives fully. Had a wonderful interview with a brand new Administrator for a BOM position in TX. Had another great phone interview with someone from the Corporate Office in IN. Got a call back from that person in IN on Thursday, asking if I'd be interested in the position even though the money was not what I had asked for during our talks. I asked if I could have some time to consider the offer and was told yes. Due to an unexpected, horrific issue at work, I was not able to get back to Corporate until Friday afternoon and when I called, I was told she "assumed" I was not going to accept the offer so they'd

Horrible business. They only care about the money. Resident care is not something that company cares about.. they keep the worst employees and let the good ones that really care about the residents get ran out by one of the worst regional administrator. I've seen this first hand for a few years. Chosen doesn't listen to the truth even when a employee is in tears because of the way residents are treated. The residents were never important and thats why they had to close the doors to one of their buildings.

The staffing is horrible and the excuse you hear when you address issues is that they are short staffed. NO EXCUSE TO ME !!!!. The message your listen to while on hold on the phone is the biggest bunch of lies you could hear. I can only say I am so disappointed with the lack of good care. The head of this company should be ashamed of themselves. If the head of this place would expect care for his mother or father like this I would be shocked. Fix the problems and make the residents top priority not your wallet ! Disgusted.
