I was very impressed with Dr Whitten's knowledge of my back issues. He used my MRI and xrays to determine i had an L5 compression fracture. He used all of that information to form his opinion on the procedure he wanted to perform on me, but he wanted a second opinion. That made me feel like I can trust this man with my health.

If I could give this office and this physician 20 stars I would gladly do so. I have severe back pain issues. For almost a year I have been going to Innovative Pain. First of all, despite regular appointments, I only saw my doctor 3 times and probably spent no more than 25 minutes with him the entire time. I saw him for my initial appointment (15 - 20 minutes) and then perhaps 5 additional minutes the 2 times he gave me an injection. Every visit to this office has been unpleasant, with short tones, and staff acting as if your scheduled and paid for appointment was an inconvenience to them. The only reason I continued through the end of my treatment with them was due to Dr. Whitten being good at what he does and a pleasant professional person to deal with. The bummer is that Dr. Whitten seems to only see you for your initial visit and any procedure that is done. Other than that you meet with the PAs and nurses. I did not have an appointment but was greeted and treated very nicely by the receptionists. I had a short wait before I had X-rays taken by a very professional and sweet McKenna (I think that was her name). I was in excruciating pain and contacted this doctor as a new patient to see if I could get in. They were very kind, listen to my issues, and got me in the very day I called. As I walked through the door they immediately got me a wheelchair and I waited for my appointment no more than five minutes. I had an approximately 45 minute visit I would guess, and I fell I was truly heard on all my concerns. I felt very comfortable with the doctor, he seem to care and want to do what he could do to help me. I also felt that he was being extremely cautious with me for my own safety reasons. I have read a little over half of the reviews and I can attest to the fact that l have received the same caring staff and the attention to detail and conversation with Dr Whitten.
