What are OEM Parts? OEM stand for "Original Equipment Manufactured" parts. There are three main types of parts that can be put on your vehicle: OEM Parts, Aftermarket Parts and L.K.Q. What are After Market Parts: These are parts made by companies other than the manufacturer of your vehicle.
Aftermarket parts are generally cheaper than OEM parts but have a higher chance of not matching the tolerance, thickness, and shape of OEM parts; they can have a higher rate of leakage, wind noise, imperfect fit, and or some other type of distortion. These parts, also, are not tested for safety as vigorously OEM parts.

Dropped off a spoiler to get painted for my 1997 Bmw M3. It's an aftermarket fiberglass part. Discussed with Mark and left it with the shop to have it painted. Mark told me it would be a 1 day turnaround. Two days later I hadn't heard anything so I emailed. Mark responded saying that the spoiler has pin holes in it from the mold it was made In and will look bad if painted. He asked me to come to the shop so he could show me what he was talking about. So he showed me the pin holes and we agreed that they were going to prep the spoiler(sanding, filler, primer etc) best they could so you

Mark is the best representative of his industry. He's the owner BTW. On short notice he fixed my son's car. When I couldn't manage a ride to his shop he towed the car to my house. He never asked for additional $ above his already low price so I tipped him in appreciation. This is my third interaction with him. Always satisfied. I don't know any other service provider that I would be comfortable calling a friend. Mark is the exception. Thanks bud.

Excellent workmanship, great pricing and knowledgeable and courteous staff make this place a no-brainer. I've used them for at least ten years, including the period when my teen driver put us on a first-name basis with everybody, lol. I recently had some rear-end damage that the insurance adjuster put at $3200. I worked with Steven and he did a fantastic job at almost 1/2 that price. Highly recommend this shop.

I had some damage to my front bumper and was referred to Cary Auto Body Specialists. I dropped by, thinking I would need to make an appointment, but they immediately started working on the bumper and had it fixed quickly. I really appreciate their 'can do' attitude. They couldn't have been nicer. I will remember them for any future needs.

I had a fender bender and got 4 estimates. Cary Auto Body was by far the cheapest...by roughly $500. The other places had fancy pop corn machines and Cappucino machines which I'm guessing is why the estimates were so high. This place was no frills but honest. I did have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment but it was well worth it. My car was ready within 24 hours.

I just want everyone to know that Mark at Cary Auto Body Specialists is one of the kindest andmost considerate person I have ever met. My car door flung open on a hill and I could not close it and the people at TAO Auto in Cary told me they did not know how to repair it and suggested Cary Auto but warned me that they were so backed up because of the recent ice storm that I would have to wait quite sometime. I took it over to Mark and he immediately got someone to close the door for me and within 2 days had two new hinges ordered and fixed it while I waited. I can't say enough for Mark and

I had a bumper replaced by Cary Auto Body on a car a year or two ago prior to its sale and had no problems. Recently, however, I took a different car in for an estimate. On a Tuesday, I was given an estimate of $178 to replace the cover underneath the car and reattach the front bumper (he took a quick look at the car parked at the curb). I was told that the part would arrive the following morning and the work would be completed that day.
The following Sunday, never having heard from them, I drove by to check on the car. It was parked off the street with the bumper removed. I called the following
