Called to get an estimate to have a new key programmed for my 2008 Chrysler Town & Country. They quoted me $300 per key, (I had the blank keys). Dodge dealer was only $80 per key... I used Ace Hardware in Columbiana instead, for just $40 per key.
THIS place is an absolute ripoff, or they don't want work... I don't know which.

I was visiting my sister and noticed the front door deadbolt would stick and it was impossible to unlock the door.
I called their office and was told John, the owner, was on a call could she call me back to let us when he could come. Within a few minutes she called back and said John could be there shortly. 20 minutes later John shows up and knew exactly what the problem was. He not only fixed the front door deadbolt but he lubricated all the locks and deadbolts around the house.
All was done in less than a half hour, but the best part was the bill. It was half of what we thought it was going

I was so fortunate to find Farris Lock and Key today. I was already having a bad day when my vehicle locked itself with my handbag and key inside. I was two hours away from home with no one to call. Not only was Josh there promptly, he got me inside right away. The best part was the excellent customer service I received from the initial phone call until the technician arrived. The price was less than half than what I was quoted just 5 minutes before I called them. GREAT JOB Farris Lock and Key. You’ve earned my business for life!

Received great timely service both on a personal level with car key/fob replacement and changing out locks and repairing them on a rental storefronts attached to my business. Rekeyed doors work better than the old locks he replaced. Replaced commercial locks and rekeyed locks after tenant had to leave. -Call Farris direct - don't fall for a call center that assigns your service call to a pool of unknowns. The lowest price is not always the best deal- quality service for a fair price is how I would describe Farris.

He did a great job in every way. He came to the house within a matter of hours even though he was planning to go out of town. He also managed to cut several locks off of our outside AC unit cages that were supposed to be difficult for anyone to break into. The keys had been lost by the company doing maintenance on them and we were in the process of selling the house and couldn't sell it that way. It took him less than 15 minutes and his fee was extremely fair!

We bought a house and needed to get it re-keyed, so where else would I turn besides yelp for locksmiths! I texted John two days before we were supposed to move in and he said he would be able to come out after we are closed on the home to re-key our house. There were some closing delays and John was super flexible, and was able to rearrange His schedule to come the next day.
