Irazu joined Creative Image Laser Solutions in 2010. She is a Certified Aesthetic Consultant, Laser Hair Removal Technician, and Velashape Body Contouring Specialist. She is educated in all aspects of skincare, including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser genesis, skin fitness, facial treatments, Velashape Body Contouring, and laser hair removal.
Mayra has 5 years of experience in the beauty industry, being captivated with cosmetics her entire life, she discovered her natural talent in makeup. She started her professional makeup career and joined the Creative Image Laser Solutions team in 2019. Mayra specializes in all aspects of skin care, skin fitness, and makeup artistry.
When you're young, the epidermis (dead tissue) is thin and your dermis (live tissue) is thick. Your skin cells rotate every 28 days (cell turnover) keeping your skin rotating and lively. As we age they reverse, your dead tissue gets thicker and more compact while your live healthy tissue get thinner.
We have all seen and heard the advertisements to clean, tone, exfoliate and protect your skin. Cosmeceuticals or medical grade skincare allow for all of these functions with a higher percentage of active ingredients than over-the-counter medications to more effectively treat specific skin conditions.
Photodynamic Therapy is a process by which a topical medication/sensitizer (Levulan) is applied to your skin that is activated by a specific wavelength of light (IPL or Blue Light). Levulan is a 20% solution of Aminolevulinic Acid (ALA). ALA is a "natural" product found in humans throughout the body.
