Started in 1954 by our grandfather, Alfred Kahle, our company has been in our family for three generations and is still going strong. Since our beginning, we have followed the motto of "quality comes first" because we always want to be proud of what we have built or created. Our father, Richard Kahle, took over the business in the early 1970s.
He helped expand our services to include remodeling, condominium construction, and custom home design and building. In 1999, Dave, Bruce, and Kevin Kahle took over the company, and further expanded the business to large custom homes, land developments, additional remodeling services, and condos. We have continued the work of our father and grandfather to establish Kahle Design & Build as one of the finest home builders in the area.

For three generations, Kahle Design & Build has been the home builder Defiance, OH citizens trust. Since 1954, we have specialized in custom homes, condominiums, and all types of remodeling projects. Continuing the tradition started by our grandfather when he started the company, we serve Defiance, Henry and the surrounding counties of Northwest Ohio.

Kahle Design & Build currently has three developments available in Defiance, OH and Napoleon, OH. There are many benefits of buying and building in a housing development. The most notable is that your new home will be newer, without the problems of an older home. The Kettenring Hill Subdivision is just off of State Route 281 and County Road 424 in Defiance, OH.
The noise from the water pipes - in my bathroom it doesn't matter if the water running is hot or cold, it still makes the dripping sound. Please tell Bruce and Chad that I appreciate all of their hard work. I am enjoying living in this beautifully built condo and I'm writing this from my office - which I just LOVE!

Kahle Design and Build made our dream home a reality. We were able to design a completely custom home with several of our own ideas included in the plan. The design stage was long and detailed but needed and we are very glad we took the time to consider all options. Kahle Design & Build did a fantastic remodel of our home. Their work was of the highest quality and exceeded my expectations. Their staff is very precise and professional and kept the lines of communication open throughout the entire project. I plan to use them again when we put an addition on the house and recommend them to anyone around.
