Hidden Cove Camp
We now have locations in SW Columbus off of Hwy 45 ALT near the GTR Airport, Weyerhaeuser, The Industrial Park, Paccar, & Steel Dynamics and also off of Military Road in North Columbus near Lion Hills Golf Course. We are conveniently located near Mississippi State and EMCC. Hidden Cove was built in the 60's by the Mullin and Swartz families and friends, originally for private use.

They enjoyed many years of camping and camaraderie, eventually building a lodge on the property used for group dinners, club meetings, card playing etc. Lots of fun and laughs. Electrical wires ran through the trees like spiderwebs, all of that is underground now. The lodge is still there in it's original condition, no longer in use but part of the landscape nonetheless.

Great smaller RV park. Very wooded. Most of the people are residents I believe. The owner Dennis was very nice to work with.

I thought owner was good person and reasonable to work with. But totally screwed me over on my deposit. After I told him I wasn’t interested in refund on rest of week I had paid up. When I had to leave due to family emergency. I just wanted my refund. You would think after staying there over a month, taking the time to clean and wash all linens. He would at least return my deposit in full but it took weeks to even get some of it. With that Being said. God don’t like Ugly and it will come back on him I’m sure!

I stayed from July of 2019 through November of 2020 with my wife and 2 dogs. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and had a great spot on the River. Plenty of squirrels for my dogs to watch out the windows and I surprisingly never saw any water moccasins. Plenty of turtles and birds though. The campground is kept clean and maintained throughout the year. Most of the folks seem to be permanent residents and all are respectful and helpful. Good fishing in the creek and I saw multiple kayakers floating down as well. Tornado Shelter on site was a little small but it makes you feel better knowing

My 68 yr old mom, who is a cancer survivor is hospitalized do to this virus. I had to take a layoff with the company I'm with in order to return home
I have no money put back and I payed this man 450 for 1mth. I've been here a week. The man Dennis said to me "im sorry about your luck but I have problems too." If you are a contractor and you have a family please do not give this man or any of his three rv parks business. God is watching.

Absolutely a great place to come as a family. Plenty of fish in spots and very very peaceful Mr. Dennis was a very nice and respectful. The other campers here are also nice. Pet friendly also! That’s a major plus!!
I have six children I also found something different to do to keep them occupied if we were not fishing at the lake.
we will always camp here when we have to be in this area.

Great little spot. I am immersed in nature. The park is pet friendly and the residence are friendly and supportive as well. Mr. Gartman keeps the park clean and he’s quick to clear out trees that might not make it through the next Mississippi storm. I would highly recommend this spot.

The owner is a jewel. Kind, courteous and very patient. The park is primarily residents but they always make room for someone passing through. The spot is secluded, quiet yet close to town. We enjoyed our time and would definitely go back.

This is a beautiful campground! Very quiet and peaceful! Owners are very helpful and will go out of their way to help you with any problem you may have. It is a historical campground that has been updated. There is an old building with original siding and signs that may look a little odd but to us it adds character to the campground.

Stayed two nights Oct. 12th and 13th. Gravel roads and camping spots. Only a few camping spots have a view and those are taken by long term residents (there are a lot of those). Advertises wi-fi. They do have "wi-fi" but it does not connect to the internet. I was told they just have a very slow connection. It was so slow that I was never able to connect to anything the whole time we were there. We also could not get service for our Version phones so no internet through them, or text - we didn't try making calls, but there was only one bar or no service at all.
One toilet of the men's room was
