Is there a '-' rating? Highly unsatisfactory business Their owner Michelle Apple treats the client like it's a widget on assembly line. She didn't take responsibility for her billing department's incompetence and error. The billing department- keeps changing from bad to worse with every new company they outsource it. Allison Temple manager - incompetent, uncaring, strings the client along for months with incomplete and inaccurate details. So disappointed with my experience at this counseling office. My credit card was overcharged more than double on my original visit. Then, was charged again the same day before the first charge was refunded.The front office staff was uncaring and uncommunicative. The billing department was downright rude. I don't think these people care about their clients or patients.I would definitely avoid this place and find a counseling office that cares.

It has been a delight sitting and talking with Shannon. My life was is turmoil when I attended my 1st session. It has b even a 360 since my 1st visit. So sad this place does not care about it's patients. Only cares about getting your money. There is a high lack of communication and common sense. Trying to find a therapist is already a stressful situation, then to deal with an admin stuff who doesn't listen to the clients needs. They charged without consent before they even submitted the claim to insurance. What kind of doctors office does this?

Jennifer Maupin, now Jennifer Anderson has been my counselor for a while now. I went in when my life was turned upside down, and I was an emotional disaster. Over the years and months she has helped me to see just how amazing I am. She has helped me to peel back some layers, dig deep, and love myself. I was looking for a Farsi speaking Therapist around the Plano area and I found Yas Farrokh. I highly recommend you go and see her at Apple Counseling (Frisco location). She's a great listener, very caring, very friendly, easy to talk to and very professional. Although I only had a few sessions with her since last month I do feel much better after each Therapy session. I wish I could give Mrs. Yas Farrokh more than 5 stars because she's just amazing!

J. Shannon Dusza is an excellent licensed counselor in Prosper, TX. She is understanding, nonjudgmental, caring, and wise. She helped me through a very difficult time in my life. I had the same negative experience as previous reviewer. When I called the office to ask about counseling, the first thing out of the receptionist's mouth was "what insurance do you use?" The message: we're only interested in your money. I would have been fine discussing payment but only after investigating whether it was a good fit. It's hard enough to reach out for help but when you're treated like a dollar sign it only makes it worse.

Several years ago when my daughter was a teenager she needed help for her anxiety and depression. Apple Counseling guided her with coping mechanisms and ways to deal with "life." My daughter recently graduated college and can manage her depression successfully. I am thankful for Michelle Apple and the years she worked with my daughter. Dani Larsen in the Frisco office is amazing! My husband and I have been her clients for the last three months. We immediately clicked with her. She listens and truly helps to provide techniques that will help us grow and resolve our issues. Dani is realistic that our issues are going to take time and is very patient when we have those weeks when we back slide a bit. She truly cares about our well being and that we succeed and improve our relationship. We have had a great experience with the front office as well. The absolute WORST experience ever. Just trying to make an appt stresses you out. It sucks when you're already going through something difficult and then you have people who answer the phone- who are supposed to be the face/frontline of the business being rude. First off in order just for them to run your insurance to see if they even accept it will cost you $75 (as told to me by Allison) and even if they don't take your insurance you "might" get it back. I was then told that "fine" they will check my insurance but I cannot make an appt. Isaid that was ok. I later

Michelle Apple in the Highland Park office was tremendously helpful in helping me navigate some anxiety issues that popped out of seemingly nowhere in my early 40s. I found Michelle to be a great listener -- talking to her was validating in a way that friends and family who hadn't experienced anxiety could not be, through no fault of their own. I wouldn't recommend, I scheduled an appointment for my son in which they immediately requested a $70 deposit. I've never paid a deposit before an appointment & this should've been a red flag. About a day later we realized that the therapist wasn't in my network & would have to cancel the appointment. I tried calling for about a week & never got an answer nor a return call, trying the get a refund of the $70 that I was charged. I just found out that Apple Counseling & Consulting had terminated my counselor(only Black counselor), because she's not like the other counselors. I'm so upset that they terminated this wonderful counselor who could relate to my pain and helped me so much. I'm so outraged that this happened to my counselor. My counselor suffers from illness and they watched her move all her stuff out and didn't even help or hold the door open for her. I feel blessed to have found Michelle Apple and Apple Counseling when I was looking for a counselor for my daughter. Michelle did a great job of establishing trust with her and broaching the subjects that my daughter preferred to avoid. In addition to Michelle, I've had some sessions with Katie. She does a great job of zeroing in on the issue, helping you make a game plan to address it, and then holding you accountable as you move forward. Worst service ever...
A place that's supposed to treat people with compassion has the most unfriendly people ever to help customers.. All they care about is their payment. I had to cancel my appointment because my baby was sick and had to go to the doctor, and all she said was ok, but you will be charged for your appointment.
Sad to say this kinda places must not be allowed to be in practice.
