Each room is tastefully decorated and include stoves, microwaves, full-sized refrigerators and a built-in outdoor atmosphere with outdoor decks, patios and fire pits.
Country Cabins offers nightly cabin rentals. Stop by for a visit and tour our themed log cabins located just one mile east of Chariton on Highway 34 near Red Haw State Park. Log cabins are available with 1 or 2 bedrooms and have a kitchenette with everything to make your vacation or hunting trip cozy and comfortable.
Whether you are looking to have a wedding, class or family reunion, kids birthday party or any time you just need a larger room to accommodate your needs we are here to serve that need. SUITE # 2 - Camp Cheyenne Kitchen Suite - $75/1 person, $15 for each additional - Located in Main Lodge - (Camp Cheyenne) -Western themed - End of the Trail - Full kitchen - 3 queen beds, leather sofa, love seat and recliner.

Our cabin was so well takencare of and so clean. My husband and I enjoyed our evening at the Country Cabins. The office staff lady was so friendly and helpful. She recommended a good eatery in town where we enjoyed our anniversary dinner. We followed dinner by attending the Saturday evening Soda Pop Saloon music program. After driving 11 hours back home to Chariton we found our home was completely locked due to a lack of communication with our daughter. It was 12:45 am and this is Chariton, nothing is open....or so we thought. I called this place looking for a room and the young lady that answered had clearly been asleep. She immediately answered my questions and secured us lodging. We pulled in and had a bit of trouble locating the main office, which is in the back. The rooms are okay, nothing spectacular. We had bunk beds and my 7 year old was thrilled. This place would rank a 3 based on size, quality and amenities

Or so we thought! After reading all the reviews I find we are not the only people who have enjoyed the experience at Country Cabins in Chariton! We have been going for six years and Every time was great! The owners go all out for comfort, super clean and so helpful when needed! We have stayed in 5 of the cabins and hard to have a favorite but cabin #10 is so peaceful in front of the water..out of the way and private that we like that the best! Love the themes...love the story behind the growth of this place and Nick is the nicest! Beds and linens are so

We stayed here recently with family members in a family cabin. Excellent accommodations. There is a fishing pond, trails, and geode rocks to break and discover the inside beauty. Nick, the owner will make sure your stay is nothing short of amazing. We will be returning in July to have a celebration of life for my mom who recently passed. This is a perfect getaway for family, or a romantic weekend for two..

This is a great place for your whole family to stay! We stayed inside he motel portion with 5 kids. We had three beds and a pull out futon couch, and plenty of room to spread out! The room included a full kitchen and bathroom which made it nice for us to be able to cook some home made meals on the road . I highly recommend for any size party. The business is
family owned and ran and they couldn't be nicer! Very accommodating and were available for a late night/ early morning check in/out. Give them a try if you're in the area

This is the kind of place that just makes staying away from home easier. The folks here really know how to make you feel at home.
Super clean, very comfortable all the way around. The decor varies and I am sure there is a cabin that will suit you, several have gas fire places, and each cabin that I have stayed in has had a very comfy bed. There are full size refrigerators and a microwave too.
There are BBQ grills there for easy grilling and picnic tables too.
There is a State Park adjacent to the cabins that offers great fishing, hiking and exploring.
I truly believe that this place is the Best
