Alyshea is now the second generation owner of Feather Your Nest Interiors. Alyshea grew up in Muscatine and attended college at Iowa State University and Scott Community College. She has degrees in Interior Design and English & Professional Communication. After graduating college, Alyshea moved to Nashville, TN.

While in Nashville, she worked for large Fortune 500 companies that were in the manufacturing business of commercial interiors. She was promoted in 2006, and moved to Atlanta, GA. In Atlanta, Alyshea worked as a Hospitality Account Executive and designed for four and five-star hotels. In 2010, Alyshea moved back to Muscatine to help start Feather Your Nest Interiors.

We are your destination for all things custom for your home. From North American made furniture to accessories, drapes, blinds, pillows, area rugs, wallpaper, bedding, cabinetry, countertops, lighting, tile, cabinetry hardware, and much more! We offer interior design services, such as Kitchen & Bath designs, CAD drawings, space planning, and paint selection.

Services Report

In our Design Center, there are thousands of fabrics to choose from to create custom furniture, bedding, headboards and pillows. We also have unique home decor, area rugs, artwork, wallpaper, and all types of custom window treatments. In our Kitchen Center, we sell complete lines of cabinetry, countertops, backsplash tile and lighting for your kitchen and bath projects.

I love Feather Your Nest. I wish I had known about Feather Your Nest when I moved into Muscatine. They handle everything from cabinets to furniture and the owner is very very nice and will work with you. The objects in the store of top quality and the color and variation is second to none. The fun room is in the back where they have discounted items so you can find cute things on a budget!

Staff is very friendly, professional. They have great selections and plenty of variety to meet everyone's different styles and tastes. I would highly recommend their business :-)
