Services
Richard Swanson graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1985. Licensed to practice in Florida, Dr. Swanson opened his office in Citrus County in 1992. Dr. Swanson is committed to continuing education classes, including extensive training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and dental implants.
Bridges, crowns and dentures are not the only choice for replacing extracted teeth. Implants are surgically placed below the gum line and fused to the jawbone. Individual teeth or complete arches of teeth can be replaced using implants. These implants will last for many years and require the same up keep as regular teeth, including check ups as well as brushing and flossing.

Bruxism- the habit of tooth grinding, usually during sleep, often resulting in loose or worn teeth, gum recession, destruction of the supportive bone and TMJ disorders.

My dad died last August, shortly before a scheduled appointment. We called and canceled the appointment and informed the staff that he was deceased. We still get reminder cards to schedule an appointment and just got a birthday card... which is nice and all, but he's dead. He no longer get needs dental care.

This was my second visit to Dr. Swanson's dental practice and I was extremely impressed once again. I no longer have that"fear" of going to the dentist that has plagued me for years. ]The facility is sparkling clean, and the staff is amazing. My hygienist, Kim, explained the procedure she was doing and made me feel totally relaxed. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome. On a score of 1 to 10 this dental office is a 10+.

Rip off!! They charged my wife more to repair a cracked partial then what she paid to have the entire partial made in Clearwater! The repair broke less than a week later. We were told they would of course warranty the repair, then they recanted and charged us $60.00 again! Go anywhere else but here.

I really like this dentist's office. Everyone from the receptionists and assistants to Dr. Bouton were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The environment is very clean, updated and makes you feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking to have dental work done. 😀

Visiting Snowbird from Canada. Sudden onslaught of a toothache.
Appointment was made for the next business day. The office was modern and bright. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Swanson was excellent at explaining the procedure. Beware of the accounting department,reconciliations can take 6 months. I made phone call when received notice of payment due immediately told there was error and bill was now $300 less.Delays partly due to Dentist dropping out of network then rejoining the network.
Accounting make sure they are in your network otherwise you pay hell in reconciling. also when i got work done I paid for what insurance did not cover.
