Services
Our Credit Union is a member owned, not-for-profit organization whose objective is to meet the needs of our members through professional, prompt, courteous service with a personal touch. We are governed by an elected board of volunteer directors, who set the policies and procedures for the operation of the credit union.
The nine charter members were Stanley Prque, John Reid, E. Burdette Talcott, Neal Elliot, William C. Smith, Maynard Farren, A.A. Ferguson, Maynard B. Hoyes, and J.H. Murray. These charter members were joined by other city employees to increase membership to 78 members before the end of the first year.
Why Become a Credit Union member? First, let's talk about what a Credit Union is. A Credit Union is a member owned not-for-profit organization. Simply put, that means that if you are a member, you own a piece (a share) of our credit union, you have a say in how we do business. Who runs the Painesville Credit Union?
To provide superior financial services in a friendly, professional manner for our growth and profitability. Excellence: We will work to be excellent in everything we do as your trusted financial partner. From daily interactions, to finding ways to better provide for our members, to working to keep Painesville Credit Union financially sound.
What is a Select Employee Group? Painesville Credit Union offers Lake County Companies and their employees not just competitive rates and fees on a variety of products and services, but also with the financial counseling and education they need in today's challenging economy. As a not-for-profit credit union it's simply our mission to serve members in a way that other financial institutions can't.

The PCU is always extremely helpful. They are always going above and beyond for their members. They provide awesome customer service and will answer any and all questions. The ladies in there will assist with your financial needs to meet your goals, and help you turn poor money management around. I always go to them and recommend you do too!
