At Willems Painting Inc, our roots go back to the late 1940's in Western Nebraska. B.C. Willems was the Pastor of a small country church and painted some barns to supplement his income. In January of 1950 he moved the family to Reedley, California. Relatives in the construction business helped him to get started with some painting work.
B.C.'s clients were so happy with his work that he was soon established as a residential painter. As his three sons became old enough, he taught them this trade. The youngest son, Nathan, began his painting career in 1957, the summer after graduating from the eighth grade. Nathan worked summers, Saturdays, and after school during his high school and college years.
