Services
Independent Physicians Medical Center was created with the belief that outpatient procedures can be done in a private facility without the inconvenience of going to a hospital. We are small enough to have a personal relationship with our patients, but large enough to offer cutting edge technology and medical services.
Depending on the type of imaging exam you will have, your preparation prior to the imaging exam will be different. For your convenience, we have provided common preparations. It is extremely important that you follow the instructions for your exam. Should you have any questions about these instructions, call us immediately.
We are open from 8 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday. We always try to accommodate patients' schedules, however, certain studies can only be done at particular times, either because of human physiology or because a doctor needs to be present for the procedure. For these reasons different modalities have different schedules.
Insurance policies change all the time so it is really difficult to make a complete list of insurances that we accept and what they cover at our facility. Our billing department is always glad to answer any questions you might have regarding coverage. Below is a list of some insurances which we currently accept.
Independent Physician Medical Center is a preferred provider with the majority of insurance carriers available in our area. To service our patients better we continue to maintain and add new carriers regularly. If you have questions regarding your benefits, our staff in the billing department will work with you to try and answer those questions to the best of their ability.

I had a wonderful experience today when I came in for an x-ray. My tech was Victoria and she helped this extremely anxious patient to feel much more at ease. She was so caring, patient, and kind. I'm so sorry that I can't recall the wonderful girl at the front desk as she was just as wonderful. Additionally, I was in and out. I would highly recommend coming here!

Can't really say much about this this place in terms of experience. Since I tried calling to schedule for a X-Ray script, but instead I kept getting hung up on. Only thing I heard was some spanish lady who picked up the phone said something really fast in spanish and puts me back on hold 30 minutes before hanging up the phone.
Tried calling back 2 more times and was immediately hung up on both times.

I'm surprised at all the bad reviews as this wasn't my experience at all. My appointment was booked through Radiology Assist and was very straightforward. I presented my voucher at the front desk, then waited only a few minutes to be seen. The radiologist who did my MRI was very professional and despite my fear of needles was able to get my IV contrast done quickly and easily. The scan itself was fine - although I had to be fully immersed in the machine, I was given headphones and a periscopic headpiece so that I could see outside which reduced claustrophobia, and then I asked for and received

I would definitely recommend this facility for any procedure. I was greeted with genuine smiles from beginning to end. Front staff was very friendly. I am claustrophobic and I had to get a CT scan. My technician was Marie and she thoroughly explained the procedure and stayed with me whole time. I am so thankful for such a great experience.

Excellent facility! I would 100% recommend friends and family here! The front desk was very accommodating in getting me in for my scan. I accidentally brought the wrong script and the front desk was able to contact my doctor to have the right script sent over. The employee's were very welcoming and personable. They were very prompt and thorough.

I have never had a good experience here. This is not a welcoming office. The front desk is always rude on the phone and in person. They lied to me telling me my husband could come in the room for our pregnancy ultrasound then he took the day off from work and they wouldn’t let him come back. It is extremely stressful because they can never find the referrals my doctors sends them. The only reason I come here is cause it’s affiliated with my primary and my insurance will only cover this this location.

I have been having my medical testing done at this location for a number of years. I need to first start by saying no one really wants to get these things done, we either need to because we have an issue, or we’re trying to prevent one. Also, they are not comfortable procedures, at least the ones I always need to get done. For the past 4 or five years, I get yearly mammograms and pelvic ultrasounds. Up until last month, I was able to schedule with the same tech Sofia for ultrasound. She’s wonderful, she’s pleasant, sets up expectations, completely professional and is as gentle as the procedure

Ultrasound tech Audrey treats patients HORRIBLY.
My previous experience wasn’t bad as it was pretty in and out HOWEVER, My last visit was absolutely awful. My appointment was scheduled for 5:30 over the phone with the receptionist. 5:50 comes around and I’m the only one sitting there. I ask when I’ll be taken back as I had to have a full bladder for an hour before being seen. The tech (AUDREY) comes out with an attitude because I asked where she was. I apologized for asking for her and stated my appointment was for 5:30. She instantly got an attitude and told me it was for 5:45 and she doesn’t
