We founded Sheffield Towing Services over ten years ago with one simple but all-encompassing goal in mind: to deliver the efficient, comprehensive and affordable towing and recovery services our neighbors throughout West Texas deserved. We knew our old-school, customer-first philosophy would position us as the area's go-to service provider.
Sheffield Towing Services offers a wide variety of automotive emergency services. Our operators are standing by 24 hours a day, seven days a week to dispatch a driver to your location at a moment's notice. Motorcycles, compact cars, and certain small pieces of equipment fall under this category. Delivery trucks, small campers, boats, and other mid-size vehicles and items fall under this category of our services.
A little over 2 years ago I was in between jobs, sitting at home, when my sister called. She said Sheffield Towing was looking for tow truck drivers - would I be interested? At that point, I knew nothing about the towing industry, but decided to visit with the owner anyway. The meeting went well, and I decided to give it a try.
Our sister company, Fort Stockton Towing and Truck Tires, is located in Fort Stockton, Texas just off of Interstate 10. Our sister company, Sanderson Towing and Truck Tires is located in Sanderson, Texas on Highway 90. Our sister company Balmorhea Towing and Truck Tires is located in Balmorhea, Texas just off of Interstate 10.

I was not expecting such a professional and prompt service in the middle of the night after my hard headed self decided to chance the 45 miles it would take till the nearest gas station.(guess the outcome) I was soon relieved when I get a call from a Mr. Dusting Linker soon after placing the ticket with my insurance that he is In the immediate area and can help me even though someone else took the call! Talk about taking the initiative! Mr.Linker assured me that this is more common than it seems and that I shouldn’t beat me self on my mistakes. Above and beyond the service I was expecting from

The absolute Epitome of service. Robert was my driver. He arrived on time and greeted me professionally. The way he took care of my car was like he was taking care of his own. We had a pretty far drive and Robert was respectful and Caring even offered me a water when I get into the Cab. I hope many of his peers emulate his contagious attitude. If I’m ever in the area and I need a tow I would be requesting Robert from this business.

Dustin came out to change a tire on my flatbed. He was very professional and friendly to talk to. Got the job done in a timely fashion. I hope I never have to use them again but if I have a tire go out again in that area they will be the people I call.

Was an amazing service! I can’t remember drivers name. But not only did he change my tire he checked all tires added air. Gave me tips on the tires I had(they were in awful condition) Very informative! Followed behind to unsure I was safe! He referred me to a tire shop In Next town! Was so grateful… very very kind Man!!!

Today my family was traveling through Texas on the way to our son’s baseball tournament. We came from California. We had a minor accident and needed towing. Our tow truck driver, Robert Rodriguez was amazing! I was super stressed, to say the least. We were stranded on the side of the I-10 East. He was not only on time but a little early, and beyond helpful! He was kind and understanding to me, my husband, and three kids. He had to tow us to multiple locations, and even made sure we made it to a car rental company. I cannot say enough kind things about this man and the company he works for. Use

Yesterday Mike came to our rescue, we had tire issues for a second time. Mike was on it, not only did he fix my tire on the RV, he also fixed my other RV tire, in the back of my truck. Robert was an incredible tow driver! Friendly, attentive, speedy, and very professional. He made the entire break down a lot more bearable. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone broke down on this part of the I-10. The only suggestion I have for Sheffield is maybe better communication on the dispatcher's part.
