It was our first time here. We celebrated my birthday with family tonight (6 adults, 1 child & 1 baby). We started with a meatballs in tomato sauce appetizer which was nice and soft perfectly tasting. Then vinaigrette green salad. We shared several plates. The Fettuccine Alfredo and hand made spaghetti carbonara was fresh and perfectly creamy. The bronzini in white wine lemon sauce practically melts in your mouth. We thought of Veal Marsala but decided on Veal Alla Mario based on the Maître d's recommendation; not traditional but good choice. And the shrimp scampi with breadcrumbs was broiled

The homemade bread and homemade fresh mozzarella are game changers. You think to yourself "there's no way it can get better" oh but it does. The entrees are incredible.
Everything is so fresh and homemade. Love the vibes here too. The staff are wonderful and very hospitable. Upscale but has that family feel with reasonable prices. We will definitely be back!

Superb customer service. I wanted a particular type of cognac but they didn't have it. The owner went out and found a great substitute for me, excellent service. Along with excellent service, the food was delectable, the food was seasoned to perfection and the portions were plentiful, everyone had to go containers .

Excellent Italian and the service is the best. The lasagna ("brick" as Nick the server calls it) is my favorite. The fish specials, whether Halibut or sole is light & tasty. Appetizers are big also. Staff can't do enough for you. Nick is fun & Frank at the door always wanting to please customers. And, spoke to Filomena who is an interesting person , many stories. MANGI!!!!!

Everyone. Filomena's is A HIT. Italian restaurants cannot compare to the level of flavor that Filomena's includes in their food. You've got to make you way here to try their seafood pasta and the chocolate mousse cake is WOAH. Waitstaff and busboys are SUPER attentive and on point with making sure the tables are cleaned and drinks are always replenished. The decor is lovely and clean with a nice comfortable lighting and ambiance. Most def will be back to try out everything else this restaurant has to offer. Keep up the good work, this place is a gem!

For instance, there is no menu section for salads but I asked for a green salad and the order was taken with a smile. In addition, I got an order of perfect fried zucchini (also not on their menu) - it came out piping hot with a side of hot marinara sauce for dipping and had the perfect amount

Was here for my daughter's baby christening.
Nothing to write home about.. They put us in the middle room so we had to deal with the waiters going back & forth in the last room which had a room divider.. Ordered the veal Marsala which was horrible..no taste..3 other people said the same thing.. didn't serve cappuccino hot ..also the maitre d had no social skills..
I found King Umbertos much better..

Just had my bridal shower in the newly renovated restaurant. Mario is amazing to work with, takes care of you like family! The room was spaced out perfectly in compliance with covid regulations as well as having all the staff fully masked. All our guests felt comfortable and have RAVED about the food! Every dish that was served was amazing!! Will forever be a customer of Filomena's!! Thank you to Mario and the entire staff for taking care of us!!

Amazing Friday lunch. The eggplant rollatini was exceptional. Sliced thick enough and the ricotta was fresh and plentiful. The filet of sole oreganato was amazing. The baby lamb chop special was so tender with so much flavor. Broccoli rabe must have had some butter in it because butter makes everything better. The handmade spaghetti with mushrooms and shrimp was so delicate and light. Do not miss the not too sweet desserts of their homemade tiramisu and cannoli. Michael our waiter was the consummate professional. He should be cloned!

I have been going to filomenas for years. The food is always fresh and on point. They use high quality olive oil and never skimp on their ingredients. Not having gone here for a while, I recently went here on a Saturday evening for dinner with some friends. The much needed updated atmosphere was a total bonus and the food is even better than what I remembered. Consistency, friendly helpful staff and quality Food and drinks is why I will always give this local restaurant my business. It's like visiting family. Bravo to the staff. I came here for a private party. I had the chicken parmigiana. It was crispy and delicious. It's certainly meets the standard of a quality, Long Island chicken parmigiana. The provided some starters including salad, potato croquets, fried zucchini sticks, and bite sized pieces from a Sicilian pizza.

New Years Day after hanging around the house with a bit of a hangover we decided we needed some old school, Italian comfort food. Yeah, we could have ordered delivery, but I wanted to get out of the house, go some place a little more upscale than a pizzeria and I was also craving some eggplant parmigiana (or rollatini) so from the reviews Filomena's looked like it would hit the spot - it did for the most part.
I made an unnecessary reservation for a 6pm dinner with the place half filled mostly with families or larger groups - not many 2 seat tables here. The vibe in this Tuscan/Italian decor
