An understated centerpiece of main street.
Great little Mom-n-Pop cafe, sadly keeps short hours.
Looks like a hunter's den.
Any hyper-sensitive PETA members should probably eat somewhere else because all the who's who in the area eat their breakfast here and enjoy looking at the excellent taxidermy all around.
No unusual items on the menu, just the normal fare, but made with all the love and care of Mom in her own kitchen.
You might have to wait a bit because they are too picky about wait staff to have very many of them, but they know their job and after your third visit they know

Went there for brunch on 10-14-21
My coffee was $2.50 same price as soda, had 1/2 order biscuits and gravy,no eggs...$8.99 was cold,my companion had a sandwich with 1/2 order FF....fries were greasy and still half frozen. Best part of whole meal was my coffee.
Told waitress about food cold, she tells cook, and cooks response was priceless coming from a cook.."how am l to know the gravy is cold"...umm....as a cook it is ur job to make sure food is at correct temp. Total bill over $30..
Doubt I will be back.

Time moves a little slower in tomah, as soon as you walk through the door your ushered in with warm welcomes and friendly faces. Dixie our waitress was absolutely fantastic, providing a truly 5 star experience with a motherly touch. Our chili was delicious and full of bold flavor, a very hearty start to our meal. Before we could even blink our meals were in-front of us, Dixie made sure our every need from hot sauce to salt and pepper were taken care of. Portions were very large and prices were great, the best part however? The food! One of the best omelettes I’ve had to date and the toast was

Menus have been updated since posted. Coffee $1.43. Large facility and the kitchen was slow but it was very busy for a Sunday. WiFi very good. The booth we were in was not comfortable. Large portions. We don’t usually see as a breakfast item a “all you can eat” French toast or pancakes. Eggs seemed to be fried on the lighter side. The Cinnamon roll was below average and would not get again. If you like extra thick toast you’ll like this. Staff was not perfect but nice and cordial. I would try another cafe before coming back but would still recommend this place.

I know this is someone's livelyhood and everyone has a bad day so I don't write this lightly. We ordered an omelette and a steak sandwich and waited long for are food. The omelette came out 10 minutes before the sandwich and was completely cold. The steak was ordered medium and was very rare. Total was $25 and very disappointing.

First off the waitress we had was very hard working. She was making jokes and kept us smiling. She was ways there if we needed something. If a cup was half empty she would bring a new one out filled to replace it. She would always ask if we needed something or if we would like more. The Cafe was so family friendly. It made u feel tight at home. It was cozy and felt right. I would recommend this to anyone who likes small cozy family cafes. The food was amazing and so was the employees that were making everything else possible. Plz plz plz try it if you have a chance.

Although the food is good, it is nothing special from any other home cooking restaurant. The man issue is price. All items are very overpriced. For example, $8.95 for biscuits and gravy (no sides.....just 2 biscuits and gravy). Or a patty melt for $9.95 - includes a side of store bought potato chips.
Will not be returning.

20 min to have order taken, 30 min for breakfast to be served. Mexican skillet has canned ingredients (tomatoes, cheese sauce). Biscuits and gravy: gravy was brown. Biscuits turned to mush under the gravy so it was basically a thick paste. Toast and hash browns were ok.
Interior needs a thorough cleaning and update. We sat near the kitchen and heard a cat meowing? We only heard it once, not sure where it was coming from. $36 spent and was unfortunately really disappointed.

What an amazing experience! I've been here two times before today and I did not realize they closed at 1400 on Sunday. I walked into the back door that was still unlocked and greeted by staff. My waitress promptly seated me and I questioned if they were still open. She politely informed me that they were not and asked what I would like to eat. She put my order in right away and got me a cup of coffee. I have never been treated so well especially when I was in the wrong. I will continue to come here due to this. Amazing staff, food, and atmosphere. Hailey was my waitress and she even gave me

Reasonable prices but service barely ok. Stopped by while driving through Wisconsin. It was just before Packers game was about to start and as the server commented to another customer, they are always slow when there is an early game. My omelette was good, but wrong. I ordered a ham and swiss. After a long wait (given that only 3 tables were occupied and one was already eating) I was served a ham and sausage with American cheese omlette that had 2 small cups of ranch dressing on the side. Server didn't notice the omlette was wrong even though we were the only order she had taken while we were there

If I could give it less than a star, I would...a little awkward walking in, decor seemed to be 1960s striped wallpaper, with tons of taxidermy everywhere that seemed it hasn't been touched, also in the 60s. Waitress was horribly inattentive, never kept coffee full, never asked if we wanted more, had to ask multiple times and wait 5-10 min to get our fill up. Before y'all get uppity, she was waiting on us and one other table...everytime we asked her a question she would turn around and walk away, acting like she didn't hear a word. And we continued to be polite with her. Ordered a

I just returned to this place twice this summer (I'm not from Tomah, I just Vacation near by). I love this place. Pancakes are so good not too sweet and perfectly fluffy. Corned beef hash is so good too. Those french toast are delish! On behalf of my grandparents who also come here when they are visiting during the summer. They are pleased with how the waitresses remember them even though they are out of town and only stop by in the summer. The waitresses remember what they usually order. EVERYONE working there has been so kind. This place brings great memories to our family and we will continue

We have been on the road for almost a month. This was the best breakfast we have had yet. Hubby had the veggie omelet that was full of veggies- hash browns were outstanding-crispy on the outside and moist inside and raisin bread was sweet. I had the French Toast. It tasted more like plot was made with custard than eggs. Awesome!

Went here after church last sunday. I ordered breakfast 2 over med with hash browns and bacon and the wife got a chicken sandwich and a cup of soup no fries. I remembered this time to tell them no cheese sauce. I guess most of the regulars have it poured over everything. I had water and she had a coke. Service was ok and food was average. Everything on menu was like $9.95 Our bill was $27. And change not enc tip A little pricey to me for what we got i thought
