Post Pro is a full-service recording studio and film & video post production facility located in Raleigh, North Carolina. We offer 3 rooms for production including:. Studio A Studio A is based around the Neve Genesys Recording Console which is loaded with 1073 Microphone Preamplifiers, 1084 Equalizers and the Neve Dynamics package which adds compressors and gates to each channel.
There is also a large selection of outboard hardware from manufactures including Manley, API, Eventide, Lexicon and many more. Post Pro also maintains a selection of more than 100 vintage and boutique microphones to cover every possible recording application. Studio A also features one of the largest tracking rooms in the Triangle with 16 foot ceilings in addition to 2 additional isolation booths.

I have been dealing with Matt Horton since 1994. I have done two full cd projects and several singles. I have referred several friends to Post Pro for their projects. Matt consistently provides first class equipment and advice. As long as your session is planned, communication of goals, procedures, timelines are discussed, you will enjoy your time at Post Pro. Matt is meticulous in his methods, he will explain that to you up front. Will Matt work you, push you to do your best, yes. That is part of his success, he's there to give you a good recording based on his years of experience.

I've used post pro for a variety of services, including; music mastering, cassette tape transfers and VHS transfers. Not only was Matt extremely professional to work with, his attention to detail was definitely noticed, and his rates very reasonable. I've sent a few clients to Post Pro over the years and they've all been happy with the services provided.

Post Pros I have to give 5 stars to. They are a premium full service studio. Do you have a band that needs a demo? Do you have old family videos and pictures that need to be digitized? They do all of that, and more. The facility is conveniently located off Atlantic Ave, just minutes from downtown. The facility is state of the art. The load in is easy. There is a full kitchen and very clean restroom for the long sessions. The control room is cool and comfortable with multiple seating. Matt is great to work with and will offer helpful advice. Our company has worked with Matt at Post-Pro for 4-5 years now and whether we are recording or mixing any form of music or commercial production; it is Post-Pro that we call only. Matt is a consummate professional with skills and knowledge gained first-hand, so he knows his stuff. It is good to be able to hand your precious work over and not have to worry that your product is not being properly mixed, mastered and secured.

What a great experience working with Matt at Post Pro! I had a seemingly small project to make background ambiance for a villain themed event, but he made me feel as though my project were as important as any big name artist that had come through. Picking out explosions, gun fire, and recording a custom announcement was not only fun but educational. Matt has amazing equipment, the knowledge of years of experience to use it to it fullest potential, and the down to earth personality that puts you at ease. Everyone from the AV crew to the guests were blown away at the quality of his product as well

My ballet school danced in multiple performances each year with our music handled by Matt Horton at Post Pro. Our musical needs were challenging due to combining differing genres of dance, multiple sources, and an array of instructions from faculty. Matt was technically excellent and would not accept a mediocre edit and always enhanced the quality of our audio. Matt's professional help made my shows better.
