Awesome surprise! At first glance this RV park looked a bit underwhelming. Near highway so some street noise and no frill spots . . . BUT . . . Mel, the owner, makes up for any concerns. He is super friendly and helpful, more so than in any of our RV parks during our cross country travels. He brought over a welcome mat and small trash can and helped hook things up. He lives in the park and made clear we could come to him with any questions or concerns. He came by with humorous bumper stickers and fresh eggs from his chickens. We woke up to finding a local newspaper outside our door. The WiFi allowed

It is a no frills campground for sure but totally worth it. The owner is really nice and gave a place for trash as well as a small mat for our stairs. He gifted us 6 fresh eggs from his flock that were so delicious. It is easy access off the highway and full hookups for a low price. Close to a state park and again, a nice and easy location.

The five stars reflects an owner who really cares about his guests and added thoughtful touches to our stay (welcome mat, own can, newspaper in the morning). We stayed there a few weeks ago and it is one of the best bargains one could ask for while traveling.

Mel is awesome! we have stayed here 2 times now. first time was for 3 months as my wife is a travel nurse. second time was as we were passing through heading to a new assignment for her work. so only a day. we wish we had more time to stay longer! Mel is an awesome host and now a good friend! we will stay here any time we are near the area, even if it is a bit out of our way!

Nice, no frills campground. Fantastic owner that goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. You definitely can't beat the price...great value for the money. I give it 5 stars on that.

Great overnight stay. Easy find off highway. Mel is a great guy. Sites are gravel and level. We had our 40 ft super C with Jeep road in with no problem. Check out the gift shop downtown and the market has a local snack called kuchen. Yum! Mel left a local newspaper in the morning which we enjoyed reading. Good stop!

There are very few choices for full hook up campgrounds in Eastern Montana so beggers be choosers. The place is definitely "no frills" as described by many reviews, but does offer pull through sites, 50 Amp power and water. Arrived in the afternoon and a friendly gentleman met us and apologetically informed us that someone had run over the power pedestal so there was only 30 Amp electrical service. Our rig has 3 AC units so 50 is what we need, but we thought we would just run one AC unit. Mind you, it is over 100 degrees F. We don't have a 30 Amp adapter, but the nice gentleman from the campground

Wow how many parks help you with lining up you with the dump line, hooking up your power cord and making sure you are settled. Then the owner brings you a welcome mat, a small garbage can to put by your rig, fresh eggs and a notebook with things to do near by! Only bad thing was low water pressure but I just used my onboard water system to take showers.

Just a great place to rest for the night. No, there's no fancy bathroom or showers, that came with your rig. Mel, makes sure your lined up, hooked up before you pay him, cash that it. His whole family is American Small Town friendly. Really goes all out to make sure you're settled. I witnessed him helping a fellow RVer, whose starter had gone out in this truck. Set him up to get a replacement, gave him the tools and a hand to get it fixed. A true gem, when all other RV parks were packed.

This place is a diamond in the rough. The price, the owner, the beauty that surrounds it, Awesome. For the RVers who don't need all the resort stuff like myself this is the place to be. An awesome place for agate hunters or people who love rock hunting. Not to mention the history all around. Truly a a little piece of heaven.
