Foggy Rock is a local, family owned restaurant established in October of 2010. We strive to be a part of the community and serve both the locals, who live full time in the area, and all those visiting our beautiful mountain village. The food is our biggest passion. A twist on the ordinary, we are constantly looking for new trends.
We don't limit ourselves to a specific cuisine - we believe all the different cooking styles of the world are equally tasty. We also get a lot of inspiration from Food Network and places we travel to, in and out of the country. We take everyday classics and add a "twist" to make it unique to our style.

Nice pub with cozy interiors and prompt service. It was pretty busy when we went and took about 20 minuted to get a table but I guess that was the sign of how good the food was. The service prompt. They have several vegetarian and vegan options which tasted fantastic.

We were so lucky to get a seat at the bar the day after Thanksgiving! Especially lucky it was Friday and the best New England Clam Chowder that I have ever had it is the Friday special. I wish I could have brought home a gallon! Highly recommend the Cricket Burger and the Chicken Salad Croissant. They also have a great selection of North Carolina beers! Four hour drive and will do it again with Foggy Rock Eatery and Pub on the

To see that this doesn’t have a 5 star rating blows my mind. My husband and I were soooo impressed MCKAYLA is a superb waitress and the food is to die for. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes with pimiento cheese and marmalade topping, my husband enjoyed the Bahn Mi sandwich and I loved the burger with pulled pork and other deliciousness. Then topped it with peach cobbler. We will miss this place when we head to Raleigh. Thanks so much!!!

Busy place on Sunday but wait was not long. I ordered mimosa it was good more on sour side than sweet. I also had salmon taqueria salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Salmon was outstanding the way it was fried with spices just played so many notes on my tongue. Salad was huge and fresh with a lot of stuff in it. I saw beans lettuce corn corn mini ribbon chips pepper onion shallots. Balsamic vinaigrette was not tangy and has semi sweet taste but you won’t choke on it for sure. Loved my meal. I will be back if I’m heading this way. That’s an A+ oh yes and the staff great attentive people with

Loved this place. Portions were hefty. Service was friendly and fast---and they were very busy that day. And food was delicious. It's right off the parkway, just a little after the exit point. Not hard to find at all. Parking lot seems tiny, but there's plenty off to the side so don't let that scare you away.
They were under construction building an outside space with an outdoor fireplace. I'm sure it will be a beautiful space to match the existing restaurant.
This was a good experience. Glad we stopped.

Everyone in our group enjoyed their food in this nice find just outside the main drag of Blowing Rock. The restaurant offers simple, comfort food like burgers, cheese steaks, and fish, that all had their own unique offering to it. I especially liked the Foggy Rock Philly, a traditional Phil with shredded steak, onion, American cheese, and jalapeños. The staff was great, the restaurant was clean, though a little dark, but an awesome place overall.

We've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The whole menu is a slightly special version of everything. It's as if the team try to make even the most ordinary dish just a little bit special. This time I had the pot roast Philly cheesesteak sandwich -- it was simply awesome! The bread is perfect and the meat was just so tender and tasty. There's also a wonderful selection of bears. This is a solid six star venue. I'd go as far as saying, along with 1180, these are my all time favorite casual dining venues (and I go to lots). You won't be disappointed!!

I love it here! Cozy decor, great food and wonderful service. We visited Blowing Rock and were HUNGRY after gem mining. We've been here years ago when our son was in App State and had to return. My Earth Bowl was good but the Brussel sprouts were a bit too large and not soft enough to enjoy. The rest was really good!

We just happened up on this place unexpectedly and we ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which was amazing! It had a red sweet/ spicy kind of slaw on it and I lovedddds it. We ordered the home handmade chips with it they were good. Someone in our group got a Philly and it looked very good. Day outside, was super nice, very fast service, reasonable price.

Foggy Rock is a great place to dine!! Upon entering after waiting 40 minutes for a table I had to use the restroom. I walked in and laid my eyes on the coolest urinal ever! It was cut and made from an empty keg! Amazing!! On to the food. They have a great cheeseburger but they have an even better steak and cheese sub!! The home chips were fried a little too crisp for my liking. Some super sweet but great tasting sweet tea. I treated myself to some superb peach cobbler for dessert. This was served with vanilla bean ice cream and it was top notch. They have a full bar here. Outdoor seating. Parking

We love coming to Blowing Rock and now we are adding Foggy Rock to our visits. It's a great, cozy place right outside of downtown Blowing Rock. It is separated into two sections- pub area and dining area. After reading great reviews, we decided to give Foggy Rock a try.
When we came in. I was a little weary because the hostess was not the most welcoming and it took a bit of time for our server to get to us - but once our server arrived at our table, he was awesome! Very friendly and gave us fast and exceptional service.
