Stoney Creek Farm sits near the Civil War battlefield of Antietam, the Washington Monument State Park, and the Appalachian Trail. It is one of the oldest farms in Washington County, and is about 90 minutes from Washington DC.
The Schlosser family left Germany for the New World in the late 1700s, and by the early-1800s two of the brothers had settled in Boonsboro - one serving as mayor, and another, Joseph, purchasing the property known today as Stoney Creek Farm.Succeeding generations of Schlossers kept the family farm running for 150 years.
