I've performed over 7,000 hours of electrolysis in Cary NC on 200+ clients over 10+ years.
Electrolysis is the process of permanently removing unwanted hair by treating hair follicles one-by-one. Electrolysis is done by gently inserting a tiny probe into the natural opening of the hair follicle. Then, a small amount of chemical and/or electrical current are applied in order to annihilate the hair growth cells.
If I cannot see the hair, I cannot treat the hair. It's best to stop shaving for at least 2 days before your appointment. And for other methods like waxing, tweezing, and etc., these should be stopped 2-3 weeks prior to your first treatment and they must be discontinued once your series of electrolysis appointments begin.
I graduated from the Rocky Mountain Laser College. I've performed over 3,000 hours of Laser Hair Removal in Cary NC on 150+ clients for 10+ years. I also attend 20 hours of continued education every year. Laser Hair Removal safely and quickly reduces excessive, dark hair from your face or body. Lasers use pulses of light to target the pigment of individual hairs, heat the hair follicle, and kill its root without harming the surrounding tissue or skin. By killing the follicle, a hair can no longer grow from it, preventing future hair growth.

I first came to Andrea from a recommendation from my doctor's office when asking for a trans-friendly provider, and was informed that Andrea is whom they refer out to, since so many of their patients have had nothing but praise for her. I first made a consultation to do electrolysis because I didn't understand how laser worked, and didn't think it would work. Andrea took the time to educate me on both processes, and made the recommendation to do laser first, because it would be long term cheaper for me. At follow up appointments I would be so excited at the effectiveness of laser, and keep asking

I am a 42 year old man and I have always been insecure about the amount of hair on my body. no lie my hair coats my body like fur coats a dog. I received 4 laser hair removal treatments on my arms...last appointment was in January 2020. I am very happy with the results. I would say I saw a 60-70% hair reduction, which is perfect because I want to have hair on my arms, just not a fur coat! Andrea is very informative, knowledgeable and very friendly. She knows her job very well. My only complaint is that during the appointment duration, she starts reading her messages, replying to her clients or uses restroom. Even if she has to do her personal things, she should compensate for that time. Other electrologist use alarm clock and they stop the watch for personal things. Every time its like for 30 minutes appointment, I am only getting treated for 20 minutes only. I should be treated for 30 minutes. Not like, if appointment timing is 11 -11.30am, during the treatment you are doing your
