At Mason Run we know that preparing our students for the real world means building strong academic skills and social skills inside and outside the classroom. That's why we help students build the life skills and soft skills critical to continued success after graduation like resume writing, interview skills, how to be a team player, and more.

We also bring in community members to help students turn stumbling blocks into stepping stones on the pathway to success. Mason Run High School is a unique high school serving students ages 16-21 who want to graduate early or have been failed by traditional schools. We know that every student learns differently.
Services
Last year Mason Run graduated 60 students out of 200, putting them on the path to success. Mason Run students are going on to big things! We're especially proud of Jayda Taylor who has launched a successful career in the U.S. Coast Guard and Kason Robertson who earned a football scholarship to Santa Monica College in Los Angeles California.
Mr. Butler graduated from Wittenberg University with a BS in Elementary Education and a Masters in Educational Administration from Ashland University. He comes to Mason Run from Springfield, Ohio. Mr. Butler enjoys playing competitive softball, watching movies, reading, and serving people in the community.
As an independent nonprofit organization, Mason Run High School is governed by a dedicated group of community leaders who put our students' needs first, provide fiduciary oversight of public funds, and ensure compliance with all policies required by the Ohio Department of Education. The Mason Run High School Board Meetings are scheduled on the third Thursday of each month at the location designated.
IMPACT Community Action provides our students with an incredible array of services and resources, including career advice and support, free job equipment and clothing, job placement, as well as transportation, housing, and health insurance. Every Friday, counselors from St. Vincent Family Center work with our young men's and young women's groups, helping them build skills to deal with real life situations.
At Mason Run we have big plans for the future. Next year we will be building a new career tech wing and offering our students industry credentials for in-demand careers construction, retail management, cosmetology, manufacturing, and health care. You don't need a 4-year degree to get a good paying job.
