Our approach is simple. We believe that health is amongst our most valuable possessions. And while we generally meet people after they've lost their health, our commitment is two-fold. We're committed to teaching our patients that true health is a journey, not a destination. Through educational opportunities (like this website), we hope to communicate the value of ongoing chiropractic care.
If I would have not went to a Chiropractor for my back problems when I was a teenager, I would not be one today!. I lived in training rooms, physical therapy clinics, and was always taking medications for my back problems as a teenager. After living in these clinics and always having to deal with back pains, I became interested in the health sciences and majored in that in college.
We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our clinical judgment and years of experience. I use what I feel is going to be the best fit for the patient. Also, we are very big on giving patients suggestions of things to do at home to help them achieve quicker results.
If you've ever gone to a social event where you didn't know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel. Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home. Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it's important that our relationship can go the distance.
As soon as you walk in the door to our Troy office you are greeted by our friendly staff. You will then be asked to provide a copy of your photo I.D. along with an insurance card if applicable. Next you will fill out the necessary paperwork in order to be seen by the doctor explaining how our office works and providing health history in order to assist the doctor in assessing your treatment plan.

Dr. Oakley is professional, quick, knowledgeable, and very personable. I have scoliosis and had foot pain from a previous fracture. Dr. Oakley easily diagnosed my issues with a consultation and x-rays. My foot pain is gone and my back and neck feel exponentially better. Night and day. Administrative staff is friendly and organized. I highly recommend!

I met Dr. Oakley at the Miami County fair where he had a booth over 16 years ago. He has adjusted me through pregnancy, various injuries and most recently, kayaking and ATV adventures. He adjusts my daughters also. I am always amazed how he can fix our pain without any meds even when the pain is so severe that walking or lifting is difficult. Very friendly and very knowledgeable! Dr. Oakley is a gift. Thank you, God!

I have been seeing Dr. Oakley since 2008. My experiences with him have always been positive. He pays attention to what areas are most painful and will concentrate on those areas. My husband and I have both had our backs go out on us on many occasions and he has made time to get us into his office to take care of us. Dr. Oakley is professional and friendly.

I began seeing Dr. Oakley about 12 years ago. I suffered several back injuries as a teenager that continued to cause me more and more trouble as an adult. However, I can honestly say that, thanks to Dr. Oakley, my back feels better now at age 45 than it did when I was 25. Before Dr. Oakley, I lived with nearly daily back pain of some degree. It often interfered with my work and my life. Now, any pain is rare and easily fixed in a few visits. My overall quality of life has definitely improved.
