I thought buying local was the right thing to do in the age of big box stores. I bought a Maytag washer from Lang's. My previous washer lasted over 17 years, so I was surprised when the Maytag broke after 3 years. I thought Lang's would stand behind their product. Not! They could come in 3 weeks to fix it. They came in two because I was a customer. The repair man said it was fixed, however when I went to run a load, the same grinding sound was there. I called. They would order a part and it would take 3 more weeks to get and it would cost $300 with the service man's time

The stove I bought is great never had a cake turn out so perfect ,also delivered on time by two delivery men that explained every detail on my new electric stove, will go back to this store to by my mini washer and dryer after the new year 💙

Purchased a Maytag washer from a "big box" appliance store. Never again!! Having trouble with my washer and had to call Maytag customer service. After a lot of time on phone with Maytag we will be having Langs Appliance come and fix the problem Karen from Langs is such a great person and always very helpful and it just proves once again buying from a reputable local business is the best way to go. Horrible horrible horrible. Bought an oven that didn't work from day one and after trying to get them to rectify the problem for over two months they basically told me too bad and to deal with the manufacturer. Karen should certainly not be in customer service.

Don't count on them! They'll promise you a time & then cancel at the last minute. Need it fixed on Friday? Hope you can wait till Monday. I can't.
