I thought buying local was the right thing to do in the age of big box stores. I bought a Maytag washer from Lang's. My previous washer lasted over 17 years, so I was surprised when the Maytag broke after 3 years. I thought Lang's would stand behind their product. Not! They could come in 3 weeks to fix it. They came in two because I was a customer. The repair man said it was fixed, however when I went to run a load, the same grinding sound was there. I called. They would order a part and it would take 3 more weeks to get and it would cost $300 with the service man's time

Purchased a Maytag washer from a "big box" appliance store. Never again!! Having trouble with my washer and had to call Maytag customer service. After a lot of time on phone with Maytag we will be having Langs Appliance come and fix the problem Karen from Langs is such a great person and always very helpful and it just proves once again buying from a reputable local business is the best way to go. Thank you Karen!!
