Services
The core of our company is the Geology Department. They perform the site assessments and advise and direct emergency response cleanup situations where a contaminate has been released into the ground or into a water source. Marion has many sites with monitoring wells and remediation systems and our geologists work closely with government agencies to bring these sites to closure.
No issue is more paramount to MEI then the safety of our employees. Every service that MEI provides is enhanced by employees who feel valued and protected by a company determined to keep them safe. MEI invests a great deal of time and money on employee safety. All field personnel receive 40 hour OSHA training and the appropriate yearly 8-hour updates.
Marion Environmental performs complete lead inspections using the most current XRF technology, and we provide a fully detailed report of the inspection results within the shortest time possible. OSHA requires building and facility owners to determine whether or not lead is present in order to protect employees from incidental exposure.
Emergency Response is one of our specialties. We have a highly trained crew and we enjoy a large market share of the local incidents. Marion has in house personnel who are certified to give 40 hour OSHA training and 8 hour refresher courses. We supplement this training by holding professional training seminars every 6 months.
