Social Graces consists of a team of friendly, highly trained, instructors who strive to help the average person achieve each of their unique goals through the understanding of how to act in a musical social environment. We are in the business of teaching people how to enrich their social lives.

Services
We teach to the goal of the student, so we adapt what we teach and how we teach to help that student reach their goals. We teach our students to be welcoming of others, as a friendly environment is much easier to learn in. Not only that, you may see each other at different events, and it's nice to make friends.
We are the only local studio that has full time professional certified instructors who teach you how to dance at social events in an easy, fun, and systematic way. We also have the most efficient and organized system of teaching offered in the region, which will save you money. Social Graces hires full time dance instructors who focus on our students during our business hours seven days a week between 10am and 10pm.
This method was created by our studio owner, Freddie Ciampi. It is used by our trained staff to help save you time and money as you learn in a fun and organized fashion. Each letter of the S.T.E.P.S. acronym represents one of the five pillars of ballroom dance. Expression - Expression is the personalized, artistic side of dance.
I was asked to describe what dancing meant to me. Dancing can be seen as different things to different people. Ultimately, dancing is a means to an end. Dance is a vehicle or expression through which one can communicate to others. People choose cars and trucks based on how that vehicle allows them to feel the road, how it feels when turning a corner.
Ballroom Dancing has groomed me into a well rounded person. I have become more comfortable, social, confident, and more patient. It has been the best stress reliever I could have imagined and it has taught me to appreciate how unique and beautiful each person is. Social Graces is a hidden gem dance studio in Berryville.

My husband and I were married last month and we had our wedding reception at Historic Rosemont in Berryville, VA. We started planning our wedding about a year ahead of time, and one of the first things my husband wanted to schedule in preparation for the big day was dance lessons! Social Graces is conveniently located in Berryville Virginia with two floors; a smaller floor for private lessons and a larger main floor that is spacious and well suited to group classes, in studio competitions, dance parties, and special events. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a great place to get started in ballroom dance, just have fun, or develop as a dancer.

Freddie was so great to learn from and work with. He taught us a lot of basics about dance (which we didn't know at all) and choreographed a dance for our wedding. Freddie was so fun to work with and we looked forward to dance lesson nights (and I'm not a person who loves to dance either). We learned a lot, we laughed, and the end product was great. SO many people commented on how they loved our dance and it was something we accomplished together. Freddie also DJ'd our wedding and did a great job and even taught the crowd some moves. Social Graces was recommended to my husband and I when we were looking for dance lessons so that we didn't look like complete idiots at our daughter's wedding. We had so much fun with the instructors and other people who take lessons and dance at Social Graces that we continued taking classes long after our daughter's wedding. If we hadn't moved back to Arizona, we would still be attending all their functions. I cannot tell you how special everyone of these people are. It's been a year since we left and we still miss them. Excellent instruction. Great fun.

I am so glad that I found Social Graces Ballroom Dance Studio. After a seven year dance hiatus, I began taking lessons there after my spouse died. The teachers are wonderful and tailor your program to your goals. The students are warm and welcoming. I have made some significant friendships while getting high quality dance instruction.

I thoroughly enjoy myself every time I go to Social Graces whether it is for private lessons, group lessons, social dances, and even the competitions. The studio is very friendly and family oriented. Through the private lessons, Freddie has helped me to become more confident in myself and encouraged me to get out there and dance even if it takes me asking the man to dance. How else am I going to build friendships and relationships unless I'm using my two left feet and stepping on toes? Which I must add has improved since I started taking lessons.
