Lisa Pearson has been doing QuickBooks consulting and training and bookkeeping as a career for sixteen years. She earned her degree in Accounting and Business Administration in 1996. For many years before starting her business, her career was working for other companies in Corporate Accounting as well as Small Business Accounting.
Training can be provided no matter what your level of knowledge - several of my clients had already taken QuickBooks courses before working with me. Many of my clients have told me that they enjoy working with me rather than their CPA or tax preparer. I am told that I am less intimidating and speak in terms that are not over their head, which makes for a much better learning experience.
Review and Cleanup - If you already are using QuickBooks, I will review your current data file and see what problems there are that need to be fixed. Cleanup work is billed on an hourly basis. Training - I can make sure that your books are set up the best way and train you how to do your bookkeeping on QuickBooks.
I then come to the client's office on a monthly or quarterly basis and prepare all payroll and sales taxes. I will register you with all appropriate tax agencies and set up your payroll and employees. This work is billed on an hourly basis. Then for a set monthly fee, I will do all your payroll and monthly and quarterly taxes - all you do is call in hours.
I can help guide you through the maze of starting a new business, from writing a business plan to setting up bookkeeping and payroll to finding a CPA. As well as starting my own businesses, I have assisted in many other new business start-ups over the last several years. I use my experience and knowledge to help you in whatever ways you need, even the small stuff!
