Since the cornea is normally responsible for some 70% of the eye's refractive power, its topography is of critical importance in determining the quality of vision.

The three-dimensional map is therefore a valuable aid to the examining ophthalmologist or optometrist and can assist in the diagnosis and treatment of a number of conditions; in planning refractive surgery such as LASIK and evaluation of its results; or in assessing the fit of contact lenses.
Routine eye exams are important, regardless of your age or physical health. During a complete eye exam, your eye doctor will not only determine your prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses, but will also check your eyes for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes work together as a team and evaluate your eyes as an indicator of your overall health.

I haven’t had an eye examination in a few years and of course I’m in my mid 40s and using readers. I knew i was due to get the peepers checked so Dr Cox came highly recommended.
I was very impressed by the thorough examination I received as I had never had one like that before. The physician and all of his associates were very courteous, informative, and answered all my questions. Once my exam was completed, Dr Cox’s assistants spent time with me in finding the right pair of glasses. It was a very positive experience for me and I will continue to be under their care for my eye health. I

Exceptional service! This is my first experience with Cox Family Eye Care. What an awesome group of people! The staff welcomes you in with kindness, and the facilities are excellent. Then, Dr. Cox - wow. Everything he does, he does with excellence. He is so considerate and respectful. He doesn’t pressure you into anything, he explains options, and gives you the ‘why behind the what’ so you can do what works best. I’m very impressed with the entire experience and would highly recommend Cox Family Eye Care to everyone!
