Nikki has a passion for dentistry. She started as an ortho assistant right after high school and decided after assisting for several years she wanted to be a Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Oakland Community College in 2002. Nikki is thrilled to part of team that focuses on the health and well being of our patients.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Dr. Hartrick and her staff. I went in to have 2 teeth prepared for crowns. In a few hours, my teeth were prepared and scanned for crown restoration. Dr. Hartrick uses a Cerec machine to mill crowns in her office. After her preparation and scanning, I left with 2 permanent crowns placed. No waiting for 2 weeks to… get them from the lab and wearing temporary crowns. I don’t know who else you might be using?? But this entire staff has been trained and are knowledgeable about everything that goes into top notch dentistry. BTW, I was a dental assistant

After one visit with Dr. Hartrick I can definitely say she's like no other dentist. She took her time and did an amazing job on my crown. She's a perfectionist and a warm, caring provider. She showed me the steps she took in the software program she used to mold the crown. Seriously cool stuff. The entire staff is great, too!

On my 1st visit I thought it was odd that they offered me a couple of dog bisquits and scratched behind my ears when I arrived. Then I realized I was not at Hartrick Dental but at Hartrick Veterinary Clinic. Having straightened out the misunderstanding with the help of a phone and Mary, one of the nicest women this side of Neptune. I met with the charming and vivacious Dr. Hartrick. I had a couple friends that were her patients and they raved about her. My teeth were in such a horrendous state that THEY had to use the gas to keep from passing out. Honestly, it’s not like being at the dentist when you’re a patient at Hartrick Dentistry. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Friendly, talented staff and a wonderful, caring doctor. You feel more like family, especially when you spend a couple of hours getting not one but two crowns, and walk out with two permanent ones — not temporaries — and don’t need to return. State of the art office equipment, great coffee (!) and you’ll have some laughs, too. No nitrous oxide necessary!

Dr. Nancy Hartrick is outstanding. The staff are the very best as well. Dr. Hartrick and every person in that office are what professionals should strive to be. You just feel and know that you are in very capable hands. I really don't see how it could be improved. On the drive to Dr. Hartrick's office I am looking to seeing them. Very cool place.

I count my lucky stars that I found Dr. Hartrick and the excellent people who make-up her practice. Dr. Hartrick is an exceptional person and dentist. She is kind, gentle, and brilliant with a great sense of humor and she looks at dental health holistically. I have never had a dentist explain everything with such patience and enthusiasm. Let me begin by saying that Dr. Hartrick is wonderful, and the staff is amazing. She is a true artist!
I broke a tooth this weekend (chipped tooth), and called first thing on Monday morning. They were able to see me, which is pretty amazing in itself. The lady on the phone asked me several questions... when did it happen, how did it happen, are your swollen, did you cut your lip, are you injured in any other way, etc. She not only was trying to get a correct diagnosis over the phone (to ensure the DR. could see me), she also seemed generally concerned. This was the best dental experience I have ever had! From the minute I walked through the door to Dr. Hartrick's office, I felt totally at easy. I'm not a person who is afraid of going to the dentist, but it's usally not a pleasant experience. Dr. Hartrick and her team totally changed my perception of what a dental visit should be. Dr. Hartrick has been my primary dentist for almost 20 years, and she and her team run a fantastic practice in Royal Oak. From routine cleanings and teeth whitening, to crowns and dental implants, Dr. Hartrick is professional and knowledgable while being super friendly and easy to talk to. The dental hygenists and receptionists are incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgable as well. :)
