Founded in 1970, Kiddieland is a locally owned and operated child care center. With lead teachers employed with us for 20+ years, our mission is to create an environment which encourages cognitive and social development of each child through advanced curriculum. Recognizing the individuality of each child, our programs are designed to be flexible and innovative allowing each child to develop to their fullest potential.

When talking to any Watkinsville native, most people remember Don and Betty Cowan. Kiddieland Child Care is located in Watkinsville, Georgia, and always has been, since its humble beginnings in 1970. Started by Ms. Betty Cowan, the day care was a way to share all the love she had for children. Having three children herself, she started and ran the center until her daughter, Donna took over.
Holding our youngest and newest additions to Kiddieland; Our infant classroom is run by Ms. Elizabeth. Ms. Elizabeth has been working for Kiddieland since our beginning in 1970. Ms. Elizabeth, although working here for such an extended period of time, "Can't imagine a day without 'her babies'." The assistant teacher in this classroom is Ms. Keni.
