This designation is an important one when considering which appraiser to choose. An appraiser that has succesfully completed the G.P.P.A program, and is bound by its standards, offer their clients a level of confidence that they can rest assured the values assigned are true and accurate. The United States government requires that all appraisals that may be presented to any government agency including the courts be U.S.P.A.P compliant.

Buyers premium now 18% and many items are broken and missing parts. I was successful bidder for a snowblower, get it home and the entire gearbox is missing. Another item won was a mosquito magnet propane... no hose to attach it. Another item won was a lawn mower that was missing its electric start battery and had screws missing where panels had come off. The backup pull cord is missing so I have no idea if it even runs. You can't test any of the equipment. Absolutely no quality control nor honest disclosures in the item listing. For 18% buyer premium, I expect a hell of a lot more.

I'm a fairly active auction participant (one to two per week) I wish I could say that I had as good of an experience with Atlantic Auction Co. that some of you have had but it just isn't the case. I was the successful bidder on 2 items. Both Items were not as shown in the pics (I was an online bidder) and one was significantly dented and the other broke in half. What was puzzling is that what little bit of bubble wrap was in the box was between the 2 broken pieces? I called multiple times and spoke to Nancy whom was going to look into it and get the issue resolved. 3 months later and 3 phone calls
