Rosie was recommended to me by my bff, Nina. Through the years I have seen Nina do some brave changes in color with her hair and every single time it has looked AMAZING! Called for a possible appointment, she was able and offered to bring me in today of course I was running late she was very understanding, it's a small cozy clean shop downtown Ventura. Rosie makes me wish I lived in Ventura! She really understands hair, even thick hair with multiple cowlicks and weird random curls. I work as an adventure travel guide in hot and dry locations, so I wanted my hair to be thinner and lighter and layered, but still appear long and full. Essentially I wanted the best of both worlds and somehow Rosie was able to deliver. She also offered advice and suggestions that no stylist had ever told me, I really appreciated and I left her salon feeling really happy with the result. The next time I'm in town I'll be back!

After my first visit today, I am not surprised by everyone's great reviews of Rosie. Being blonde and pedantic I was concerned whether she, or anyone else could match my colour of over 25 years now that I had moved to Ventura. She really got right into understanding what I needed, carefully listening and constantly checking in on my needs, painstakingly taking more of her time with no extra expense to me just to make sure I got the exact colour and cut I wanted. Phenomenal!!! Before finding Rosie, I didn't think that a hair appointment would be pleasureable in any way. I used to dread getting my haircut or anything but my hair experience with Rosie was absolutely amazing. She really made the impossible possible, was probably one of the few to accept the challenge to fix my blotched dyed-at-home-hair (don't do it!!!! trust!!) and turn it picture perfect. This is my second time coming here and I'm not disappointed, Rosie did an amazing job on my hair. I have fizzy curly hair and I got it cut and styled with blonde highlights. I didn't think my hair could look this good but I left feeling like a different person!! I love the cut and the highlights came out great! Will be coming back for sure.

I only go here for cut or color. Rosie knows what she is doing and I never leave unhappy. If you need color she can do anything. She has been dong my hair for 20+ years and she is the best. Never frys my hair when I go blonde. My hair is always in great condition after lightening the color or bleaching. Recently put pink highlights in and they look hot. We did it in one session where my best friend who goes elsewhere has had two sessions and still isn't done.

I have been going to Rosie for 18 years, I have long curly red hair and she knows exactly what to do with my hair. I have always strayed but I always come back. I hate to sit in the chair for hours but she keeps me entertained. She is excellent with doing the color red and every time I leave the salon I feel beautiful. :)

Rosie at the Maximillian Hair Artistry Salon in Ventura has done a great job on my hair and I would recommend her to anyone for hair color (especially if you want to go blond) and any haircut. I learned that she also does the ombre and the japanese hair straightening. The privacy of this salon makes it special to go there, going back for sure!
