At Just Cremation, we have a very simple mission: to provide local families professional, respectful, affordable direct cremation while ensuring they know exactly what they're getting and exactly what it costs. That should be what every family experiences with a direct cremation provider, but sadly, it's not.
The world is rapidly changing, and just like everything else, death care is evolving. People no longer feel trapped in a small number of choices for how to deal with the end of their lives - or the lives of their loved ones. Some people still prefer traditional burial with full services, and that's fine.
This is our basic cremation package for those who "just want to be cremated." It includes transfer of deceased from place of death into our care (within our service area), obtaining all necessary permits, filing death certificate, notifying Social Security, sheltering and refrigeration before cremation, cardboard cremation container, and a temporary urn.
Far too few people plan arrangements in advance, even when circumstances-such as being quite elderly and/or in declining health-would suggest it's a good time to do so. However, you don't need to be especially elderly or terminally ill to plan for such arrangements. If anything, the best time to make these plans is well before such circumstances arise.
