When you come to our office for the first time, our first desire is to get to know you. Dr. Macalik will take you to our consult room, a room specifically built for getting acquainted and discussing your needs. One of our hygienists will be in the room also. We may have some questions about your health history.
Dr. Whinery is actively volunteering with Serving HIM Ministry - an organization he has been involved with for eight years. He recently accepted the position of Country Lead for their clinic in Chisnau, Moldova and will be traveling there several times a year. Be sure to ask us how he's doing at your next appointment!

So happy I found Alana Macalik DDS!! I first picked the office because it’s close to my home and the reviews we already amazing and I know why. It was the first time going to the dentist in a while for me since I have moved and they were so nice at putting me at ease! Each staff member I have met along the way greeted me by name, has been prompt, and always thorough in letting me know what is happening and my options. I had two cavities and the procedure was completely pain free! For me this dental office and it’s staff check off the boxes that matter to me and I couldn’t be happier with

I have been going to this dentist office since it was Dr Whinery’s in 1984! He then had Dr Alana Macalik take over his practice. I can’t say enough good things about this practice! Everyone is so friendly & professional. I absolutely love my hygienist Kendall!! If looking for a new dentist for all your needs please don’t hesitate to give them a try. You will be happy you did!

Initially I thought this place and the staff were great. I still think the staff is. I had a cavity filled and like a month or so later the entire tooth broke at the cavity and I ended up having to have a crown put on it by another dentist. On top of that when I agreed to do the first repair I paid my bill in full. I insisted on a full and complete total before I agreed to it. After I got a huge bill from the office, and I had to pay over 1000 dollar to fix the very same tooth I just paid this office to fix. Not impressed and won’t be back. I don’t like dentists as a rule, and I don’t tolerate

My mother, husband and I have all come here. They were very kind, gentle and honest. My mother and husband both were extremely pleased with the care received and said staff was very sweet. I had by far, my best experience in a dentist office today. I am new to the Arlington area and my sister recommended her dentist Dr. Alana Macalik. I am so happy, that she still takes new patients. Wonderful staff on the phone and then at the office putting names to faces. Marisol took my X-rays, Kendall did my cleaning, they were kind and made me feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. “Dr. Mac” did the same and the attitude of everyone was wonderful and caring. It was so refreshing to see. It makes going to the dentist as pleasant as it could be… highly recommend her if your looking

I have dentophobia. Due to bad dental experiences from childhood to becoming an adult. Whenever I would schedule an appointment, my anxiety would be off the charts. I don’t remember how I found Dr Macalik’s office, but her and her staff have definitely changed my life. Thanks to her blessed hands, I can now smile confidentially without hiding my teeth behind my hands. Many years ago I had some bonding work done and through the years my teeth became stained. I always wanted toget them fixed but life kept getting in the way. The professionalism and care I received throughout my treatment
