Shear Pleasure is a family owned salon. Ines DiBernardo, and sons George, Gianni and Louie DiBernardo have been in business for over 30 years. We first opened in Langley Park in 1977 and have been located in the College Park Market Place since 1999.

Shear Pleasure is located between Shopper's Food Warehouse and Hard Times Cafe, with plenty of free parking available, making it convenient for clients to run errands, get lunch or dinner before or after their appointment.Our entire staff is well-trained in modern cutting, styling, coloring, perming, skin care, nails and waxing techniques.

They screen you on the way in which is great. My daughter and I have been using Shonda for manicures and pedicures for the last 20 years. She is very good as well as knowledgeable about her craft.

I’ve had my haircut done by Louie a couple times and he always does a fantastic job. Today, I had a quick trim done by George. I showed him a photo of what I wanted and it turned out perfectly! Will definitely be coming back here regularly.

Salon is very dated. It's a bit pricey for the location and services offered.
I got because I trust my stylist, Penny. She's a little salty, but very skilled. I trust her to do what she thinks is best.

I've been going here for at least 10 years. I had given up on my previous hair salon and just walked into Shear Pleasure in desperate need of a hair cut.
Maria helped me. She listened to me and did an excellent job.
All of the people there are warm and friendly. I haven't gotten a bad cut ever since finding Maria.

I went there yesterday for a simple flat ironing my hair, i got charged for $55.00. One time shampoo, no conditioner applied to my hair, no style... just flat iron... The place is too expensive for the services they offering.
Poor costumer welcoming at the reception...

I've been coming here for over 10 years. I get my hair, nails and waxing done here. Never been disappointed. Pricing is reasonable and the entire staff is wonderful.

Good stylist, but very pricey for no reason. It's like a Hair Cuttery, but family owned and not as crowded.
