Anderson Insulation Of Maine
Anderson Insulation was founded by Eric R. Anderson after returning home from World War II. After the war, insulation was being slowly introduced into the housing market, and Eric saw the great need for the use of insulation to offset the cost of electric heat. He started off with two trucks, a loading dock and a 2,000 square foot warehouse on Temple Street in Abington.

For over 65 years we've taken great pride in our work, our facilities, and our customer service. Our goal is always to create a working environment for our employees that is unmatched in the rest of the industry. We strive to exceed customer expectations by making each job a top priority and always ensure all of your needs are met and any problems are addressed in a prompt and professional manner.

Anderson insulation is one of the few insulation companies that can handle all of your insulation needs, including spray foam, blown-in cellulose, blown-in fiberglass and fiberglass batt. Our installers are specialized for each insulation type, and the trucks are outfitted to handle each specific task.
Maintaining the largest fleet of spray foam-dedicated trucks in the Northeast, Anderson Insulation is your regional spray foam powerhouse. Spray foam's high R-value and built-in air sealing qualities make it a top pick for new construction and remodeling work. Anderson deals in both closed-cell and open-cell spray foam to make sure we offer the best products to suit your individual project.
A fiberglass batt is the most common and widely available type of insulation used in residential and commercial construction. They are pre-cut panels of insulation available in a variety of lengths, widths, and R-values. The R-value of a batt measures the thermal resistance per inch of thickness. Standard batts have an R-value between 2.9 and 3.8, while medium and high-performance batts have an R-value between 3.7 and 4.3.
Cellulose Blown-In insulation is one of the most commonly used and seen insulation in homes across New England. This insulation is made up of wood fiber and newspaper waste, and is very fire resistant. This is because the insulation is coated in borate which gives the insulation its fire resistant trait.

Ryan and his crew are outstanding! Ryan came by for the quote first. He showed up right on time and was thorough and efficient and his quote came in right on the money!
When the crew showed up they were polite, professional, and courteous. They talked with me before beginning work and they were careful of my shrubs in the front and protected my basement doorframe with scrap plywood so the hoses wouldn't rub the paint away. You just don't see this level of concern anymore! I really appreciated that! The basement spray foam looks great and I'm looking forward to lower utility bills this winter

I had a fantastic experience with Anderson Insulation across the board. Ryan responded quickly and accurately to my estimate request, my questions along the way, as well as scheduling the work. Matt and Isiah showed up to my home on time, were very professional, and did an absolute amazing job with insulating the part of my basement I am finishing. I would highly recommend Anderson Insulation to anyone.

Ryan was amazing at getting a crew on-site at our new construction home. The team was fast, efficient and very polite. We could already feel a difference in the house temperature once the insulation was in. I highly recommend Anderson Insulation.

I am a contractor and wouldn’t use any other company. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable, fair with his pricing and does quality work. Whenever I hire him, I know he is going to show up on the day he said he will and do exactly what he outlined in his contract. His staff have always been polite, accommodating and leave the job site clean.

The crew just finished insulating my new garage and they did a fantastic job. Arrived right on time, worked hard until the job was done. Cleaned up afterward and were polite the entire time.
Best quote I received, and they did all that I wanted. (combination spray foam and fiberglass batt types)
I got their name from a co-worker who had a house insulated by Anderson - that person was happy with the result, and now I'd recommend them.

Based on a friend's recommendation, I had Ryan give me a quote on attic and basement insulation. I didn't know what to expect but found Ryan to be knowledgeable and (important to me) right on time!
His quote was in my price range and he impressed me with the options available and the fact that he works very closely with a company who will do all the testing and paperwork for my Efficiency Maine rebate (thanks Free Energy Maine!). The whole process was so smooth and now my house is waaay warmer! Great work all around!
