Services
Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery. Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
John Campbell John has lived in Alaska for 9 years. When he's not at the clinic keeping things running smoothly, he enjoys being out on one of his boats fishing. He has 4 dogs, but his trusty and retired hunting partner, Briar, can always been found by his side. Trina Brandt, LVT Trina has been in veterinary medicine for 30+ years.
We are fully open and our doors are unlocked. Clients are allowed to come into the building with their pets for exams and no need to call ahead of time. If you would prefer to stay outside, we are happy to accommodate you and your pet with curbside service. Please call us at 907-745-3219 when you arrive if you would like curbside.

I called to set up an appointment and the lady on the phone was very rude. She wouldn’t answer my simple question regarding scheduling and then rudely dismissed me before hanging up on me. I called back right away and the phone line said the clinic was closed for the day. It was before noon on a weekday. Needless to say I wont be calling this clinic again.

I’ve had medical issues pop up for all three of my dogs in the past year…teeth cleaning for one, mass removal for another, and arthritis for the third. The vets and their techs have treated all three of my dogs with kindness and care! I firmly believe in staying attuned to my dogs reaction when I bring them in, they’ve been happy and engaging with everyone they’ve seen. They especially like Dr. Goss. :)

I really like Dr Goss. He is great with my large dogs. He listened to me when I explained the issues my dogs were having and came up with a straightforward treatment plan. I am very picky about vets, and I will continue to drive from Anchorage to see Dr Goss. It seems hardly any vets in Anchorage are taking new clients, and the ones that are are booked out for a month. Palmer vet was able to get me in quickly and address both of my dogs issues.

I've recently moved out to wasilla, and on recommendation by my grandma I have visited here twice! Very nice staff, waiting room windows with views of the mountains. Even sodas/coffee etc and ample seating available and even a kids table for large legos and coloring pages too! Looks to be expanding which is great. Be prepared to pay the bill at end of service as well, no payment plans are available. Thankful for their help!

Have had the opportunity to use several Veterinary offices in the Valley. This one is the best! Your pet and you are treated well and they are very caring. My whole family has switched to this Clinic. Their Doctors are very good and are up on all the new info and treatment of animal care. I love the clinic cats, Catrick and Boss too!

I have been going to this Vet for the past 20 years. I loved the previous owners /Vets but to say that it is worse or that the quality of care has gone down since Kelly Ann has owned it, is just crazy. Kelly Ann and her staff have brought new technology and a great environment. Yes it is different but times change and I think this is a good change. Kelly Ann as well as her staff, are warm, caring and genuinely concerned about your pet. I love going here and my dogs feel at ease around the whole office. Thank you all for the great care and love you show to my dogs, I personally really appreciate

I have been trying to find a way to say thank you to the staff at Palmer Vet Clinic for their recent help with my dog. By writing this review, I hope to give others looking for veterinary care for their furry family members, a glimpse of my experience as some of the other reviews on here appear to be personal attacks.
Yes, Palmer Vet has new owners. Dr. Williams and Dr. Tuomi fully earned their right to enjoy retirement and were great long time doctors in the community. I had an emergency with my dog recently and needed help sooner rather than later and Palmer Vet fit us in right away even thought

This clinic was sold on January 1, 2017. It is no longer owned by Dr Tuomi and Dr Williams. The new owner is Kelly Campbell. She is a terrible vet. She is not compassionate with the animals, treats her staff terribly, and has a very bad attitude. The new owner is money hungry. Please, this is no longer the clinic we all know and loved. DO NOT take your animals here. They do not provide good care anymore. Those days are long gone.

This vet clinic USED to be the best around. Dr Tuomi and Dr Williams prided themselves in their work, and being there for the right reasons, to HELP and save animals. Clients new and old need to know that those doctors have sold the clinic. All the genuine staff that clients knew and loved have either left or been terminated. This clinic is now corrupt and disgusting. Being run my someone who knows no compassion for animals should be illegal. Don't waste your money here, don't put your pets in danger with these people. I wouldn't take my pet there if it was already dead.
