Our story begins in 1954, when Merle and Gloria Watson saw an opportunity and decided to open one of the first rental equipment stores in Maine, Handyman Equipment Rental Company, which still operates in its original South Portland location. Daughters Kimberly Watson Carter and Lynne Watson Cousins learned the ins and outs of the rental industry at a young age when they began working in their parents' store at ages 19 and 20.

At One Stop Event Rentals we know how to work hard and have fun! This position also includes loading and unloading trucks and maintenance/cleaning of rental items.

This company is amazing!!! I made a deposit for a tent, table, chairs and some games for our wedding this year in September..we rented a house the whole 9 etc. Well the owner of the house canceled on us last minute due to covid on the rise...what am I gonna do I thought?! I called up OSER and Abigail answered the phone...she was a life saver!! She wrote a letter to the owners and was able to push the reservation back to next year!!!! This is how customers should be treated!!!! Highly recommend and will use them again in the future!!! Thanks again Abigail and owners! Your kindness will not go unnoticed

Abigail goes above and beyond in customer service. I asked for several quotes for linens and other rental stuff I need for my wedding and she is always on top of it. My wedding is in September so I haven't gone through the renting process yet so I can't give you insight on that but I'm sure it'll be awesome!

Highly recommend! We planned a last minute event at my parents home for an after service gathering. The sales team was incredibly resourceful and made great recommendations for the type of event we were hosting. They were responsive, flexible and courteous. Everyone from the sales team to the delivery service made the experience easy and a pleasure to work with. In a day where I feel like this type of experience is less common I felt compelled to share in a review.

We all know that 2020 has not been a normal year. We made our reservation back in the fall of 2019 with the hopes of having an August 1st, 2020 wedding, with a tent supplied by One Stop Event Rentals. Since the state of Maine is under quarantine and lock-down, my daughter's wedding plans were cancelled.
Since the wedding was cancelled, to know fault of our own, we were denied our deposit. (But the good news is that we can got a credit for future tents rentals, thanks, I guess)
I understand that deposits are given to lock-in a date and for One Stop to refuse any other events in my place. So if

When you decide to host your wedding at an airbnb there are so many details that go into planning. The thought of all the rentals we needed was overwhelming but One Stop made it easy. They worked in great coordination with our planner and catering company to make the process as easy as possible. We were impressed with their variety of items and loved the transparency of having all of their items and pricing listed on their website. It made our decision to go with them easier!
